How confident are you with your choice once you start to put it on the wall?? Everytime I picked a color, I like it on the chip, then I like the little 5×5 foot sample I put up, but when I begin to really cover the wall, I start to doubt it. And then it take a few days to warm up to it after its done. Does anyone else have this problem??

I always do that! I love it on the paint chip but I hate the wall color we have up and it’s been up almost 3 years, haha!

I always do that but I am the most indecisive person you will ever meet so that isn’t that surprising.

It always takes a little bit of time to get used to a change.
I can’t commit to what I want to do in our place either. That’s why after 3.5 years, it’s still the grey walls the developer painted.

*phew* I thought I was just crazy. Fiance keeps telling me that I need to stop changing my mind and to just stick with it. He seems to be ok with just about any color. But I have some image in my head that i want the room to look like and can just never seem to nail the paint color.

My problem is that I like too many styles! See I like the modern bold fresh look, then i like the minimilistic white finish look. Then i like a few tan colours andlook in a few catalogues and like the retro look.and then i turn the page and I like the old rustic?
My problem is just deciding what style i like let alone what colour!

At least you’re able to decide on a color to begin with – I haven’t brought myself to that yet! Picking a color is so damn hard!

That is so me! It just looks completely different on the chip!! Those programs are good that you can pick a sample room (doesnt work well with your own photo) and then put the colours on your screen…only problem is the computer monitor is not always exact so it could be off, but it gives a good idea of what colours go with what.

@Vitsippa:It was tough! I had at least 10 chips taped up on the wall, then 3 little sample jars painted to see it covering a larger area since November and finally Fiance made the call and picked a color cause I was never going to decide. Now that its been up for a week… I’m still not sure about it, but not ready to repaint cause I’m scared it would like a new color even less… and it took me 8 hrs non stop so I’m being lazy.
@europomme: I know! I swear everytime that they mixed it wrong or something cause it looks so different!! I always paint some back on the chip to see if that’s what happen, but sure enough, its exactly the color I asked for.
