I’m trying to brainstorm what I want to put in my welcome bags. I don’t want to spend more than $10-$15. (I’ll only be making a handful, our destination wedding is going to be small, like 20-25 people, and I’m doing 1 per family.)
I know I want to include:
- local maps
- brochures of activities
- fun facts about Florida sheet
- “flamingo poop” (pink chocolate covered sunflower seeds)
- key lime cookies

Oranges!!!! I love Florida orange juice! Disney of course… Sunshine… Crocodiles/alligators… Oooh what about one of those fudge crocodiles you can get at tourist shops, they’re always super delicious! Super cheesey (but super fun) tourist traps. What if you found the tackiest cheap souvenier you could and put it in? That would be pretty funny 😉

Haha! It will be summer so all the snow-birds will have flown back north! 🙂

@Mrs. Meowerson: Lol thanks for the clarification.
You definitely need oranges and I think it would be hilarious to put gator jerky in the bag.

For my florida wedding we filled our guest bags with key lime cookies, pirate booty popcorn, sunscreen, tylenol, water bottles, goldfish crackers, a weekend schedule, a list of local restaurants and a few brochures.

Boiled peanuts! I’d never heard of them until I went to college there and saw the roadside stands. So weird!

I’m all the way on the other side of the world and I automatically think oranges 🙂
