I know I’m getting caught up on strange details but scarffing down food and then running to the bathroom on multiple occasions screams eating disorder to me and I’m concerned for C.

annabanana89 :   peekaboobs :  Literally exactly what I was going to say (and glad I ventured to page 2 to see if someone else mentioned it)

As someone who has struggled with Bulimia in the past I would definitely say this is a huge red flag. We forget sometimes that even though ED’s are predominantly seen as a female-associated mental health disorder, they affect men too.

But, it’s not your place to bring it up with him. If anything, casually mention his “love of eating fast” with Bestie so it could maybe trigger her to start looking for other warning signs.

In terms of getting Fiance to love C, if it hasn’t happened yet, it won’t happen. Let sleepy dogs lie.

annabanana89 :  “it’s not puking, it’s the other end” — This isn’t how digestion works. Unless he has IBS or some other serious gastro problem, he is not shitting out food he just ate 15 minutes ago.

In any case, you don’t like the guy, your fiance doesn’t like the guy, clearly this is not going to work as a couple friendship. Nothing you say to this guy or your bff is going to be taken in good faith. See your friend one-to-one and don’t subject your fiance to this guy any more than necessary. Ex: Invite him to the wedding, but not one of the bridal party.
