Four months, almost exactly.  Before that, Addie only liked white noise.  At four months, we went on a day trip to pick apples/pumpkins, and we turned on a Josh Groban cd on the way back.  She “sang along” for like two minutes, and then completely passed out.  🙂  Now, she gets so quiet when we turn on Josh Groban.  She just sits and listens; it’s really cute!

In the womb.  🙂  Seriously whenever I wanted her to stop kicking the crap out of my uterus we would pull up this sad cello song on youtube and crank up the volume on the headphones.  She would FINALLY sit still!  That was about 7 months pregnant.

After she was born, she always seemed to prefer musical pieces, not so much instrumental but those with heavy vocals.  MB wasn’t much for white noise.  She preferred the humdrum of us talking and making dinner etc.

But are you asking when she started reacting to music rhythmically?  Or just reacting period?  She doesn’t dance or anything yet, but she sings along with me in the car.  We have a 45 minute drive to and from work/daycare everyday so shen she hears the country music come on, she “sings along” and has been since about 3mos. In fact, she is the most vocal when the radio is on!
