Lovely ring! I love a good marquise stone. A ‘marquee’ is a big tent, not a diamond!

I had thought about getting a marquise in a halo at some point, they have great finger coverage.

I’d go for a v-shaped band:

Or maybe something like the Tiffany Harmony:

Oh and wanted to add that I love your ring — marquises get such a hard time around here, but your ring is beautiful! And I love that it reminds you of your mom’s!

Your ring is beautiful! I’m a huge fan of the shape. Mine is above, it was my mother’s.

I can’t see your pic 🙁 I think marquise stones are lovely. They are very flattering to chubby fingered gals like myself. On slender fingers, they look positively elegant.

One band would not be weird. It would look chic!

Beautiful rings ladies! I love Marquise diamonds! I’m newly engaged and am excited to look for a wedding band at some point. Have no idea what I would get. Here’s my e-ring!

I had a marquis with my first marriage. I would recommend a v shape band or a wrap. Mine was higher set and I had a channel band with diamonds that matched the channel diamonds on the side if my ering.

Here is my marquise cut with halo, I’ll be going for a wish bone shaped band I think but would love to see what you bees have come up with 🙂
