Darling Husband and I are both 27. We have been married a little over 2 years now and had our daughter this past new years day. The first few weeks of parenthood were bumpy (what an understatement!) but we are finally in a great routine and I am so SO happy for it. We are actually planning on trying for our second child soon as we want them to be close in age πŸ™‚

Darling Husband is a head mechanic/supervisor for a fairly new sanitation company. I’m an attorney in insurance defense. I am so thankful for my job (I have great hours and a pretty good salary) and am proud of my accomplishments but it still is tough sometimes living with the decision to go to law school as I have student debt from it and advancing in my career would require me being away from my family that much more :/

I’m new here! 27 and just engaged this weekend. So clearly I haven’t started planning anything. Found this site and seems like a good place to learn the “tools of the trade”. πŸ™‚

As for some stuff about me, well we just moved so lots of unpacking in my future. I have an awesome cat with a huge personality so I’m a bit of a crazy cat lady. I love to do pilates and lift weights as well as shove my face with wine and dark chocolate so it balances out.

I think we’re aiming for summer 2015 so I guess I have quite a bit of research to start! πŸ™‚

CarolinaPeach13:  I think it’s the new format, it’s less friendly/easy to find other boards to read at times.

I am about to turn 26 in 5 days (eek). I have been married for 11 months and we just bought/finished building our first home last month. No big summer plans (feeling kind of broke), other than my Darling Husband is getting knee surgery in 2 weeks. So we will be chilling at home a lot for a few weeks.

We have two adorable labrador retrievers (one black, one chocolate) that drive us nuts, but we still love. I have beens super lazy in terms of exercise for the past month because we were in the process of moving. Hoping to get back to running/spinning next week.

SO and I are almost 21, been together 4 1/2 years, and I’m waiting. We’ve picked the ring and have the money to pay for the entire wedding ourselves, but he’s just gotta buy the ring and ask the question! Which, if he sticks to his timeline like I know he will, should be within the next 8 months.

Hey everyone!  I just turned 27 this June.  We also had our 5th anniversary last month!

Our married life mostly consists of working and traveling.  For fun, I like watching TV and doing Pure Barre!

I’m 26, engaged since New Years Eve/Day, we just bought a house so we have an exciting summer of fixing leaky basements and repainting  πŸ™‚

I’m a big fan of all Beachbody workout programs, I own 5, and have 2 more on their way.

brinny04:  I’m starting PiYo as soon as it gets here!! Or maybe the 21 Day Fix, they’re both en route.

I have a cat named Vixen who is pretty much the cutest, sweetest brat ever, and she is what’s keeping me sane while my fiance is working out of town 3 weeks at a time.

CarolinaPeach13:  hello! I am 24, got engaged in January and planning a June 2016 wedding. Well, not really planning because I am waiting for a full time teaching position before we tie the knot so that we can pay for our wedding!

Nothing too exciting this summer..working full time as a toddler teacher. Trying to save up some more money for my student loans (those suck).

No pets here, eventually we would like to get a dog

frustrations are the lack of teaching jobs in the school districts here. Hoping as the summer moves along, more jobs will come up!

oh, and as far as working out-I walk about 1.5-2 miles 7 days a week and have done Zumba before and loved it. Want to get into yoga. Fiance is starting crossfit with his friend and seems to like it.

Well, I am 29 for another 12 days, so I can still post, right ?!

I am getting married in under 2 months (my stomach just did a flip)! I have been working out for a few months. I have been on the treadmill mostly, and lifting some free weights. NOTHING spectacluar… We planned the wedding for right after our 30th birthdays (how mature of us) and we won’t do anything big to celebrate until later this year in the winter, sigh. We have never had a birthday party, ever (sad) so we want to throw ourselves one.

Hello! I’m 26, my Fiance is 29 and we’ll be getting married in February of 2015. Lots of the big things are done for the wedding, just have to get the other little things accomplished. Addicted to Trip Advisor right now – I’m doing honeymoon research!

I’m an elementary school teacher (on summer break!) and my Fiance is a technical support provider for a software company. In our freetime we watch TV : ), run, hike, and we also like exploring nearby downtowns and house hunting. Healthwise… I used to be so active! I had a busy school year and it’s hard to get to the gym after 10 hours days at school. Now that it’s summer, I’ve been trying to run a little each day and go to hot yoga. I’m thinking I need to get a personal trainer soon… (I have NO room in our apt to do work out dvds) so I can actually get some results!
