I’m getting married at the Roger Williams Botanical Center in October. We are having a small-ish wedding, so I don’t think that seating is going to be a problem. Plus, we loved being able to have the outdoors inside – safe from any rain that may show up uninvited!

@soontobewatts: I’m not from rhode island but it isn’t too far from where I live in MA. I want to have a winter themed wedding also, and I was thinking maybe rachel’s lakeside in dartmouth for the reception.

Ceremony in Roger Williams Park (just renting the temple to music area but, weather permitting, we’ll be under a tree!)… I looked into the casino but it was way too expensive… but this way it’s only like $50 or something! And then a reception downtown at Bravo Brasserie.

@soontobewatts: You could try Kinney Bungalow in Narragansett. However, they don’t have heating (yet). I spoke to Lisa, the coordinator, and they are possibly putting in heating within the next year, so it might be worth a shot asking her and checking it out. The 2nd floor of the bungalow is gorgeous, all Ralph Lauren like with tons of wood paneling, hardwood floors and creamy plaster walls. They also have a huge (non-working) fireplace. Its definitely a whole different vibe then most places, but allows for a completely unique reception venue.

North Beach Clubhouse in Narragansett in June 2014! Most affoarable beach front option in the state. (Minus that ugly arch!)
