At 25 (in 2014), I was 5 years into my career in the Navy. On a ship in Hawai’i about to go on deployment. It’s hard to explain the climate in the military and how we all act like children to make light of the fact that battle and really bad things might be imminent. But I had already met some of the best friends I would ever have and I still don’t know what I want to do or where I want to live when I grow up. I love my job being enlisted and I plan to retire from it, but so far I can’t say there’s a definable moment where you’re a legit “grown up”. It’s all relative.

I had just started university as a mature student, was poor, single, living at home and wore braces. It wasn’t the best time of my life. It was like delayed teen years. Come on in leaps and bounds since then.

I’m 25 now! I finished my masters two years ago, have a great full time job in my field and another part time as a resume booster. We’ve got a four year old rescue lab and we’ll be getting married in October. He’ll be finishing his PhD next spring and we’ll be moving for his new job next Summer! The plan from there is to buy a house after scoping out the area and start TTC around 29.

Hmmm at 25 I was in a relationship that I was desperately trying to make work, even though I knew my bf wanted out. We broke up the night of my friend’s wedding, which turned out to be an absolute blessing. A week later, I met my DH! In all honesty, I just wanted someone to help take my mind off of my failed relationship, but what I got was so much better. 😍 It’s been 5 years, and it’s only getting better! Although, I do wish I still had the metabolism I had at 25. 😂

To answer my own question:
I turned 25 two days ago. My boyfriend got me two necklaces and took me to a beautiful dinner.
My boyfriend and I have been living together for a year, dating for two. We’ve looked at rings and houses.
I’ve been financially independent from my parents for almost five years, I’ve had my career for the same amount of time.

I turned 25 in January. I’m done with my graduate education and totally financially independent.
I live with my boyfriend of 3.5 years. We’re talking about getting engaged this summer or fall.
Most of my friends are in relationships but not engaged. I’ve seen many old acquaintances either get married or have 1-2 kids (but no one has done both).
Career-wise, in my second year of teaching. Unfortunately I have yet to really settle in one place. I’m job hunting for what will be my third school in 3 years.

I was living in London and at medical school. I had a lot of friends and was travelling and enjoying myself, but my life definitly lacked stability. I was also quite insecure and still figuring out who I was I think.
Now I’m married and buying a house and TTC! We still travel a bit but are settled and have different priorities now.

- Wedding: March 2019 - City, State
I am 31 this year. When i was 25, i was pursuing my master degree in top tier university in Seoul, S.Korea, working part time as fashion stylist and private tour guide for couples who wanna do their pre-wedding/engagement photos in korea, and translator for plastic surgery clinics. Had a fiance but things fell apart 2 years later so i called the wedding off.

I just graduated with my Bachelor’s finally and was substitute teaching while looking for a real teaching job. I have since learned that I didn’t want to do that for a living and am now engaged with a nice office job xD I also had not been driving that long at 25. I also make about $5 an hour more than I did back then! I am glad my fiance has seen me through it all!

About to turn 30 and still struggling with adulting lol. When I was 25, I was enjoying a semi successful career and about to start the journey of getting my 2nd degree. Now, I’m a graduate with a little bit more than a semi-successful career and about to get married 👰🏻😊
I always thought I’d be married in my early 20s and be a stay at home mom with a kid or two. Now I can’t imagine being a stay at home wife or having a kid let alone two!
