Holy cow, you are on top of it! Are you doing programs, a day of timeline, or guest book?!



  • Ceremony and Reception venue (Deposit paid. rest of money in savings, can’t pay until 30 days before)
  • Photography (paid)
  • Dress (paid, in possession), fitting scheduled
  • Bridesmaid dresses (chosen, all but one has dress)
  • Cake testing scheduled, deposit paid
  • Save the Dates sent
  • Flowers (chosen, paid)


Working on:

  • Invitations: designing, printing, putting together
  • Ceremony reading selections
  • Program designing
  • Bridal party gifts (ordered, just waiting for them to arrive so I can put them togeher)
  • Signage

To Do:

  • Print and finalize invitations, address 
  • Ring bearer gifts
  • Marriage license
  • Honeymoon
  • Purchase necklass 
  • Tux fittings (groom and groomsmen)
  • Gift for parents


Im sure I am forgetting tons of things, but I have all summer to get things done so Im working away at things slowly but surely!

im october 2013 and i need to:

pay the wedding/holiday (destination) next month

make the stands for the jars for sweety tables

finish sweety table lables

cut down tree from mums garden and spray and plant it for wishing tree

wishing tree poem and buy frame

hamper gifts for parents

put playlist on i pod and back up cd’s

get addidavit to say we can marry

have 2 more dress fittings

have grooms suit fitting

go shopping with dad tomorrow to get his suit

order of service design and print

confirm seating plan with co ordinator

when abroad meet photographers pick decorations and flowers

Weve got all the major stuff done, we are literally just working on decorations and bits and pieces now. I am hiring jars for our lolly buffet, so I need to book that it. I need to get pom poms and lanterns, and invites have been scheduled to be done.

Church – booked (free, you just have to leave all the flowers used in the ceremony)

Reception Venue – booked and half paid off

Photogpher and Videographer – 50% paid for

Decorator – desposit paid

Caterer- booked

Pre Marriage Conselling – half way completed

Wedding bands – purchased and in possesion

Dress ordered – first fitting at the end of September

Grooms and Groomsmen’s Suit – they are being custom made, they have been measured and have first fitting in September

Bridesmaids’ dresses – also being custom made, they will be measured in August

Shoes (heels for ceremony and flats for reception) and FI’s shoes- bought and in possesion

Veil – bought and in possesion

All accessories – bought and in possession

bridal party gifts – bought and in possession

honeymoon – booked and 65% paid for

invitations (DIY) – just need to be printed and assemmbeled – but all cardstock already cut and folded

Porgrammes – designed and to be printed

Transportation – paid for

DJ – 50% paid for and play list provided to DJ

Flowers – paid for in full

Church decor – 40% paid for

Guestbook – frame and matting purchased and in possesion

Cake boxes, napkins, straws – purchased and in possesion

Honeymoon wardrobe – completed

Hotel block – reserved and my suite paid for

Makeup – booked and deposit paid

Nails – booked

Cake – booked

Unity Candle – bought and in possession

Aisle runner – bought and in possesion

Cake cutting tools and champagne flutes – bought and in possesion


What I have left

Hair- need to find a hairstylist

DOC – I’m still on the fence about whether this is a cost I want to incur

Marriage Licence, I will get that at the end of August, its valid for 6 months

Fitness – hired a personal trainer so its a work in progress

Pedicure and massage for the day before – to be booked


I think that’s it. I just have to keep to my payment schedules and I’m good
