I got a positive (a very very very faint positive) 2 days after my missed period. I charted my periods too, not my temps…but when my period was late i just knew i was pregnant..i’m never late! I think its possible to still show negetive since its still so early on. Its possibly that your hcg levels just arent strong enough yet.

Sore/Big boobs was my very first symptom. along with AF like cramps. The symptoms seem to be there but i wouldn’t freak yourself out yet until you get a positive. Wait a few more days for AF and/or test again. Maybe try one of the early response tests? they tend to be a little bit more sensitive.

thinking of you dragon!! keep us updated.

ETA: my positive was so faint that i had to come here undercover and ask other bee’s if there was a line…i really was second guessing it.

@msdragon:  I’m only 7 weeks along but my boobs have grown a full cup size I swear! it so strange, mine never did that before my period either. I would suggest testing one more time to ease your mind and then just wait for AF. and if she doesnt come within a week test again. Its pretty common to get false negatives. I take the pill religiously and even on it sometimes my period will come 1-2 days later because of stress…you mentioned you were having stress….this could be delaying your period….I also have one major and I mean major bad period each summer…..achey boobs, bloating and cramps…..so this could be one for you.

Taking a few more pregnancy tests over the next little while is a good idea.  I am on BCPs, have been on them for a long time and sometimes my own hormones still just have a mind of their own.  I’ve had the odd occasions where my boobs were sore and emotionally I felt like I had the worst PMS  (I felt crazy!) even though it was the wrong time for it.

I have had situations where my boobs are mad sore and I’m crampier than usual, etc., and I’m on hormonal birth control Some of these symptoms could be stress though. Agree with PP, do more tests and wait it out. Thinking of you!
