@rdownie1:  Thanks ladies!  My village in Wales is tiny – 8 houses.  But in our nearest town we have a Prison museum (the old goal – it’s haunted.) A castle (haunted…), A house from 1435 (haunted)…  Yeah – we have ghosts!  This is a spoof song about my town http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VX6k07NIhvI.

Where I live now is in the middle of the Aegean Sea – Skiathos.  Mamma Mia was filmed in part here.  The island is 12km long and 6km wide, and has over 60 beaches.  It is absolutely beautiful TBF.

I was born and raised in South Jersey (NJ), but moved with Fiance to Indiana to attend college after we graduated from high school in 2008. I’ve been in Indiana almost four years, and it’s nice, but I definitely miss NJ, though my parents and youngest brother just moved to Indiana about a year ago, which has been nice. I still have another brother (also younger than myself) living in NJ, and various relatives. My grandparents still own their home in NJ, but they are currently residing in Florida with my Aunt and Uncle. It’s still a bit surreal for me to think about how we were all born and raised in South Jersey, and now we’re all slowly leaving, basically due to the cost of living. Trust me, if we could have afforded to live in NJ for the rest of our lives, none of us would have ever moved. It will always be home.

@MASPA:  Oh, how I miss Philly! I’m originally from South Jersey, about thirty minutes (at most) from Philly. We can’t get any good pizza, cheesesteaks, or soft pretzels out here in Indiana. Not to mention, we have no Wawas, or Philly sports teams to follow… Sadness ๐Ÿ™ … I’m just thankful for the moments when I get to watch the Phils, Eagles, Flyers and/or Sixers, no matter how few and far between those occurrences are!

I’m from Ocala. It’s a smaller town in between Orlando and Gainesville and is better known as the “Horse capital of the world.” Go figure…one would think somewhere in KY would be the horse capital, but whatever ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m originally from a small town in Finland, now settled to Aberdeen, UK. It’s rumoured to be the oil capital of Europe, but who knows?! Everybody I meet seems to be working in oil (myself included, have to admit), so there must be some truth to it! It’s a city built of granite; it’s grey during non-sunny days and the one day in a year that great bobble in the sky decides to come out, it’s a city shining in silver…
