Excellance Rivear Cancun for 10 days in an ocean front suit. I can’t wait.

Due to when we were traveiling, we didn’t have a lot of choice (rainy season or 16 hour flights wasn’t something we wanted) and though Mexico wasn’t our first pick – the fact we could afford 10 days made it all the more better and we soon forgot that we didn’t really want to go to Mexico in the first place.

We’re going to Tokyo for nine days.  We’ll be staying in the Park Hotel Tokyo, which is a REALLY nice hotel, but really affordable at the same time. Our room will have views of Tokyo tower all lit up at night. ^_^

I can’t wait to explore the city, shop, and eat all sorts of new foods!

jma19, I’m originally from the Banff area and I can tell you now that you are going to have a great time…. Banff/Lake Louise area is GORGEOUS. There is so much to see πŸ™‚ Enjoy!

my husband and i had to postpone our honeymoon due to work and are planning on taking a long vacation for our one year anniversary in September. I’m trying to decide where to go. Currently, I have my sights set on the Mediterranean – maybe Greece?

jma19 – my Fiance would drool over your selection.  My only prerequisite about the honeymoon was that it could be cold/no snow.

We’re taking our honeymonn a few months after the wedding and it looks like we’ll be heading to Eygpt!

we’re going to disney world!! πŸ™‚ we’ve both never been… and we’re huuge disney fans. he works for disney’s corporate offices here in los angeles, so we get our fancy hotel room for 50%, get into the park for free, and get 20% off our meals. πŸ™‚ couldn’t pass that up!

we’re planning on a big trip for our one year anniversary next year, and going to the vancouver olympics in 2010. call it a three year honeymoon. πŸ™‚

Shellypants-The PH Tokyo is my FAVORITE hotel in the entire world.  Granted, it is pricey, but the New York Grill is phenomenal, as is the bar.  Make sure you check out the spa while you are there.  The rooms are also breathtaking-incredible views, very comfortable bed, and the rooms have the most square footage of all the hotels in Tokyo.  The service is amazing-they know who you are when you arrive.  Whenever I go to Tokyo I try and stay there.

As for our honeymoon, we’re probably going to Europe-Italy, Germany, and Belgium, maybe adding in Austria as well.

We just booked 14 days, 12 nights in Greece! 3 days in Mykonos, 3 days in Santorini, 4 days in Crete, 2 days in Athens….and then about 18 hours in London on our layover on the way back. I am so excited!!! I must say, though, if we weren’t getting married during hurricane season, we would have just gone somewhere in the Caribbean for an easy and cheaper honeymoon.
