We had ideas of taking advantage of the cheap air fare and hotel rates and going to Las Vegas… but when push came to shove, getting the days off was problematic for everyone. So since the wedding was in my hometown, which also happens to be a beach destination and party town – we just stayed local and bar hopped after a lingerie shower.

We stayed in the area — Philly.  Oooo, I can’t wait to share the story and pics, but it’ll most likely be AFTER the wedding and honeymoon.  (But hey, I definitely want to keep buzzing around the hive until my pro pics come in!)

We stayed at my house and did a sleep-over with about 15 girls.  We played games and told stories and had raunchy gifts.  Tons of cocktails, pizza, dessert and jello shots.  It was a blast!

We’re going to go around the town I’m getting married in and go bar hopping as well as team trivia at the local bars… I can’t wait, since one of the bars we’re hitting up has a 20 oz margaritta πŸ™‚  11 months and counting! πŸ˜‰

I really don’t know yet, I’m pretty much leaving it up with the maids.  Probably some sort of spa day and maybe just an evening at a wine bar or something.  I don’t want to do anything crazy, I want it to be low key all the way.

We stayed around Atlanta, “pre-gamed” at my house (they threw a full fledged party, decorated my house inside and out, had swag bags, tons of food, etc. Then took me to a “surprise” and we had private belly dancing lessons for two hours! It was tons of fun and right up my alley – i’m not a drinker and i don’t care for clubs, and I found it to be waaaaaay fun!

@Laylabelle- You mean you didn’t want to be a trashy drunk bride at Moondogs or Peachtree Tavern? :p

I’m planning on meeting everyone at a condo in Destin, FL.  A weekend at the beach with my girls – nothing can be better… Well except for my wedding!

Maid/Matron of Honor has mentioned the idea of Vegas but I couldn’t ask people to spend that much for one weekend.  We thought of going to Niagara Falls (way closer to Toronto) to hit up the casinos, etc.  In the end though, I think we’ll just stay in the T-dot.  We do have some amazing restaurants and pubs/bars/clubs here!

I really like Disneyland, but was hesitant to voice my opinion; when she asked me where I wanted to go, I told her, and she said, “let’s go! it’s what YOU want to do..”

yay  so for whoever can make it, we’re taking the drive up from SD to Anaheim.  i’ll also have another get together in Rancho Bernardo, where I’m from, at a local sushi place or a wine room for those who need to stay local.
