We’re going to Niagara Falls and Toronto.  I’m from Erie, PA originally, so I’ve been to both places, but Fiance has never been to Canada and wants to see the falls.  Even though I’ve seen them a dozen times, I’m excited because that’s where my sister, my parents, and my grandparents all honeymooned, and it will be a relatively inexpensive honeymoon.  I’d anticipated budgeting about $2k, but Fiance has only $800 in mind for the honeymoon, so we’ll see what we can do with that!

We’re from New Hampshire and going to Las Vegas for one night (to see Britney on my birthday!) and then the next day we’re flying to Southern California and going to Disneyland, Universal, LA, San Diego, etc. for a week. We have a free room thanks to my parents’ time share and we got our flights to Vegas for free from our JetBlue points. Since we’re doing a honeymoon registry too, I’m hoping the whole thing will be pretty darn close to free – but we’ll probably end up spending too much of our own money on food and silly things 🙂

I’m in Australia and I’m heading to the States.

Three and a half weeks: 6 nights New York, 4 nights Washington DC, 3 nights Orlando, 4 nights on a Carnival Cruise, and then 4 nights in New Orleans + travel time. One day over, two days back due to time zones.

I think our honeymoon will be somewhere between 15k – 20k.

Mr L and I have been looking at Dubai (I’m drooling over this hotel! http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g295424-d656624-Reviews-Raffles_Dubai-Dubai_Emirate_of_Dubai.html )

We are also considering staying local as we live on the French Riviera and there are obviously lots of luxious places much closer to home, but a honeymoon does really feel like an opportunity to really splash out, doesn’t it? 😉

We’re going to Jamaica. 7 nights at Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay, in a swim-out preferred club suite. They have an awesome free honeymoon package if you stayed 7 nights in their preferred club.

$6200 for both of us, all inclusive (airfare, resort stay, food & drink).

We are goint to Ocracoke Island NC in the Outer Banks area…We love the Outer Banks.  We would take the ferry over to Ocracoke Island & always enjoyed visiting there and said we’d like to stay on that island sometime…well because of crazy family issues, stress, and a recent job change we have changed our minds about a crazy, hectic West Coast road trip (We’re from PA)…so, we are going to enjoy the beach, bicycle riding, and drinks on a private balcony of our suite at a small bed and breakfast for 7 days.  Much Needed!

BrandyQ:  You’re going to Ocracoke?! That’s wonderful! My fiance’s family owns a restaurant there (they live there year round) so we visit a few times every year.

JosephineLaurent:  Dubai is my “dream” destination but it could be on the cards that we are going to live there one day so haven’t explored it yet.
