We are going to Copenhagen for a few days and then taking a cruise up through the Norwegian Fjords. The honeymoon is pretty much the only thing we have figured out!

reptilelvr:  My fiance and I did a New York trip and a Canada cruise a few years ago and had a wonderful time! I’m happy to share my itinerary if you are interested (and if I can find it!)

LA for 3 days, then Fiji for 12 nights! It’ll be about $15K including all meals/alcohol/tours.

We are going to Hawaii – the Big Island, where we’ll stay at the Volcano House, and also at Kona.  Then we’re going to Maui, where we’ll stay at the Four Seasons.

I’ve never been to Hawaii and am really excited.  My fiance has been before and loved the volcano, so he insisted that we stay at the Volcano House.

We are going to be there the first week of September, so we were able to get some great deals, but I think we’ll end up spending about $10k on the whole thing.

We’re in the UK, we’re planning on a Sri Lanka tour, then to the Maldives and a possible Dubai stop too. It’s looking at about £7.5k at the moment, but we haven’t fully decided on everything, so it may well be less!

We’re going to Ireland! Dublin for one night, then to Galway for two nights, and then back to Dublin for two more nights. We’re using a groupon deal. The dates worked out perfectly and we did lots of research on the travel agency and they seem to have a great reputation and they’ve been very helpful and easy to reach throughout the booking process. Total was a bit under $2000 and that includes airfare and travel insurance. 🙂

We are going to Siesta Key, FL. We are hoping to spend less that $2000 when all is said and done.

My dad’s cousin is letting us use her condo free of charge, so we don’t have any accomdation cost and our flights are going to be covered by credit card miles. So we will be paying for our food and recreation as well as a rental car.

We weren’t planning on taking a honeymoon because we didn’t think we could afford it but we decided literally 3 days ago that if we didn’t take it right after the wedding, we never would so we’re going to New York City! I’ve always wanted to go (fiance went when he was 16) and my fiance said he wanted to make one of my dreams come true. I’m so excited!!! Wedding is in 32 days and honeymoon in 33!!!

Since we’re still in college, we’re keeping it affordable and going down to Tennessee for a week. We both love it down there, so we’re excited! Plus by going on a cheap honeymoon, we’re saving money for our two dream trips in the future- we want to go to New York at Christmastime and we want to visit Ireland someday.

We’re from the States and will be going to Paradisus La Perla in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.  It’s an all-inclusive, adult-only resort and includes alcoholic beverages and “luxury” status (espresso, first dibs on restaurant reservations, etc).  We found it on Trip Advisor for about $530 a night. It’ll be about $4,000 for 9 nights for both of us including all food, plane tickets, alcohol, and activities.  We used my fiancee’s credit card points to get two free plane tickets.  We got lucky for sure!!  My friend is going to Santorini, Greece for two weeks and will spend about $10,000.  Another friend went to Turks and Caicos with Trip Advisor for 10 days for $5,000 for everything.  It was a resort but not inclusive. They bought their own liquor bottles instead of buying drinks.

We are spending the week in Disney World! We will probably end up spending about 4K on everything. We like to eat at the nicer resturants in Disney, and we want to do one thing we probably won’t do again, so we are eating at Victoria and Alberts!

We’re going to Ireland! Not sure yet what our itinerary will be, but we’ll do a short time in Dublin (maybe a day and a half) before renting a car and heading off to drive around the countryside and explore smaller cities like Limerick, Galway, and Cork. My Fiance almost went to grad school there, and if he’d gone we probably never would have met each other, so it’s a place he’s always wanted to go that I’ll be more than happy to visit too. He loves driving and is looking forward to the challenge of driving in Ireland. I’m looking forward to schlepping my camera around and getting some great shots! We’re foregoing a “proper” wedding and will have an intimate, family-only event because of financial reasons so this will be our big wedding celebration instead.
