We are getting married in Hawaii, so there is a few day honeymoon there.. Then honeymoon 2.0 is Cuba and Costa Rica, and we will spend $7000-$10000

We just decided we’re going to go to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. My parents have timeshares all over the world so we could literally go anywhere we want and it would barely cost us anything. We orginally thought to go to Europe, but we would be on the go all the time if we did that. We want our honeymoon to be laidback, fun and romantic while still being able to do adventurous things. So we think DR is perfect based on our criteria! 🙂

Just booked my honeymoon today! We’re going to Cayo Santa Maria in Cuba for a week! It cost us about $3000!

theatrejulia:  We thought about going here. Looks amazing until I heard the horror stories of bugs and TARANTULAS in the room especially at night when you can’t see them. There is no fourth bedroom wall. It’s open to the elements and you sleep with a net around your bed. Looks unreal but the net bug thing gives me the heebie jeebies

banana86:  I appreciate that. I noticed the lack of the 4th wall, it doesn’t bother me. I grew up going to a cabin in the forest without one, it was freeing. Wake up to the world.

paddlingbetty:  just the political climate. What what I hear it is still a bit rough for Americans over there, after 40 years we were let in a month ago. I’m sure it’s great, gorgous and I would love to see it but I don’t consider it romantic yet. An adventure though!
