We’re doing a western Caribbean cruise (Cozumel, Honduras, Belize, and the Cayman Islands) – it leaves from Miami, so we’re going to do a couple days in South Florida, too.

I’m just outside DC, so it’s not local, but not a huge, huge trip!  We’re saving up for an anniversary trip to Italy, as well….but after paying for the wedding, a 10k honeymoon was pushing it.

We are going to Jamaica. ๐Ÿ™‚ We chose somewhere that we wouldn’t want to go once we have kids… ๐Ÿ˜€ Or at least someplace we wouldn’t want to take our children!

We’re either going to Hawaii or on a cruise to Mexico. Not sure yet.

I would have loved to go to Australia or Bora Bora, but we decided those made more sense after I am done with school. So we are looking at Sandals resorts in the Caribbean (any suggestions would be great!), so we do not have to spend half our budget on airfare alone.

We originally gave serious consideration to going to Hawaii, but we ultimately chose a Caribbean island, because it was so much closer and would require much less travel time. We also wanted a trip that would prioritize rest, relaxation, and intimacy (we waited until we were married for this) over sight-seeing, and there were so many places we wanted to visit and explore in Hawaii. We really hope to get there one day, however.

We’re being lame and going to Panama City Beach, Florida. It’s more affordable for us than something ‘fancy’ and we’ll be going during Bike Week, which my fiance is extra excited about! I’ll be happy as long as I get to pig out on seafood and browse all the beachy/touristy shops. Really, anywhere we can go for more than a day without the baby and without a schedule is going to be absolute HEAVEN!

The week after the weding we’ll be renting a cottage on a beach about 90 minutes out of town for 2 days, then traveling out west (we live on the east coast) to spend 4 days with my mother & her partner (she is hosting a luncheon for her friends for us).

In November, we will take our official honeymoom, either chartering a sailboat in the British Virgins, or renting a villa in Antigua for 2 weeks. I’m putting him in charge of the honeymoon, and I’m happy with whatever he decides.  I’ve asked him to surprise me.

Walt Disney World, for a few days, then a cruise, most likely on the Disney Cruise Line, either to the Caribbean, or the Bahamas.  My SO’s never been, though when he was little, his parents said they were going to go, but then didn’t because he didn’t eat his breakfast or some ridiculousness like that.  So, I wanted to go and be kids with him.

Iceland for us.  We do the tropical thing every year so we want our honey moon to be special.

I’m from NY, and we’re going on a safari in South Africa for our honeymoon! We wanted a once-in-a-lifetime trip to somewhere really different!

We are taking a delayed honeymoon.  We are going to Tennessee for a week long camping trip.  It is something we both love to do and something he grew up doing.  I want to start seeing more of the US (besides the two coasts).  We knew we were camping and I picked the Smoky Mountains.

I dont know if we will have the honeymoon right away. We may wait a few months and then take it in the winter. Only because a close friend is getting married right after me and i dont want to miss her wedding.

I’m hoping either Hawaii or Europe. Either Ireland or Italy.
