@anglang25: I really suggest you plan excursions (helicopter over the Grand Canyon, hoover dam) because Vegas can get REALLLLLY boring during the day..and 7 nights of casinos is alot of overkill.

we are having our honeymoon on Kauai Hawaii. We are spending $350 for SEVEN nights at a beachside resort. Its a suite with a bedroom, two bathrooms, and 3 lanais Flights are a little expensive and food, so I’m budgeting $3000 for all of it.

@Elarissa:I wish I could to there for a honeymoon! That’s where my family is origionally from and I’ve never gotten to see the country where they all grew up but there are travel restrictions to Cuba here in the US.

I wish we could go on a fancy honeymoon trip ๐Ÿ™‚ it all depends on when our wedding will be (not engaged yet, but getting close). So far we’re avid hikers so we were thinking of going on a really cool mountain for a week somewhere in the rockies (we live on the east coast). It’ll probably only be the cost of the ticket + some extra money for food or visiting. Or we might drive down there and make it a roadtrip, that’d be fun ๐Ÿ™‚

We’ll also be having a long trip to my home country in Europe before our wedding sometime during our engagement so he can get to see it and meet everyone there. That will be a couple of weeks and cost at least 2k for the plane tickets, and a lot more for food, gifts, visiting, and travelling around. So I guess that will be our “family honeymoon”? ๐Ÿ™‚

I think we are going to spend 7-8 days in Vancouver B.C.! I’ve never been and Fiance went there once while taking a trip to Whistler. Plus, we can’t really go somewhere tropical (FI hates warm weather and is scared of the ocean, lol). I always love taking trips to Seattle, and B.C. just looks like everything I love about the west coast, but cooler ๐Ÿ™‚

After doing the math, I think we are going to be able to go for less than $2,000!

@AmberAustin: I’m from boston as well and would love to book a similar trip, but I’m so short on time. Just started my own business. Did you use a travel agent?

We’re going to book last minute thru RedFlagDeals or something like that.  We want to keep it under 2500, and we just want to go somewhere that is hot, and where drinks and food are all inclusive!

We went to an adorable Bed and Breakfast in Kentucky, and we spent about $300 for two nights (including shopping, food, and board). It was on the bourbon trail, and it was actually really fun!

@msgraphics: $200 US a day is 140 Euro’s a day just a heads up.. might want to rethink that.

We are going on a 7 day Royal Carribean Southern Carribean Cruise. The cruise alone cost us $2,500.00, not including flight or spending money. We visit 6 ports, have an oceanview balcony on the 8th deck. We plan to start booking our excursions before we leave. I can’t wait!
