Fiance and I are paying for the wedding ourselves…..small wedding with less then 50 people. We really wanted to go somewhere tropical..talked it over with my mom and she said then she would pay for it since we would not let her pay for the wedding. We are spending 2 weeks in Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora. We would not have bbeen able to afford any honeymoon, nevermind a once in a lifetime trip! My mom is awesome!!! Would not trade her for all the honeymoons in the world!

We did Sandals La Toc in St. Lucia. It was $5400 all inclusive, including airfare for 7 nights in a mid-level room. We booked through Delta. For the same price, we could have booked through Sandals and gotten a spa credit, so examine all your options.
I think you could do an all inclusive in Mexico or Jamaica for less. A couple we met there had been to the Sandals in Negril and loved it. You could also save money by staying fewer days.

8 nights St. John’s in the US Virgin Islands. We spent 1800 but this doesn’t include food or activities. We booked them through the National Parks that the suites are located in – Maho Bay.

Jealous!! You all are going on AMAZING trips!! I hope you all have a great time.
We are getting married in Myrtle Beach, SC, so we are just staying at the resort for a week after the wedding and that will be our “honeymoon”, we will have our three year old with us though, haha.
It will be more like a vacation for our little family than an actual honeymoon but as a mommy, I don’t think I could have it any other way, I would miss my little guy too much!
Total room cost- $675.00 for 7 nights. We got a great deal at the resort and are only paying for 4 of the 7 nights for a one bedroom ocean front suite. It’s nothing glamorous, but it works for us. : )

We are going to Spain for 2 weeks and I can’t wait. We are spending 5 nights in Seville and a week at a timeshare resort in Marbella on the southern coast. Our flights were $1600, the posh hotel in Seville was $2500, car rental for the second week $350. The timeshare week is a generous gift from my cousin and her husband, so our major costs come to $4,450, but that doesn’t include food (oh, the food!), activities and extras like massages. I am so excited!

We are on a very very tight budge so our Honeymoon will be planned very last minute. We were originally thinking Mexico but then decided against it because neither of us has passports and that would another $400 to get those rushed. So we are now looking into Ft. Lauderdale, FL. any suggestions?? We arel looking for a more relaxed honeymoon rather than a bunch of activities. We both like going to the casino and I know they have the Hard Rock casino now in Hollywood. But any suggestions on hotels or anything would be great 🙂 We haven’t booked anything yet and our wedding is next month lol
