We’re going to Norway/Sweden/Iceland in exactly two weeks, and when people go ‘omfg why are you going there in the WINTER??’ I tell them it’s because we want to see the Northern Lights, and then they understand completely and immediately display jealousy :x.

@fvsoccer: I’m considering Croatia for our honeymoon!! When are you going? Would you mind giving me more info on where you’re going etc?
Other than our honeymoon (which from the above you can see is still undecided!), I am going to Tel Aviv and Berlin 🙂

I never thought I would be able to either, but it was way cheaper than we were expecting. We got a great deal on a flight and then a decent deal on a safari. Still our most expensive vacation, but I figure it will be a once in a lifetime kind of thing

This year, maybe a quick weekend trip but I otherwise have to live vicariously since I’m saving up for a great honeymoon next year 🙂
Last year I got to go back to Guatemala and add Belize and Honduras to my list
Post # 37
Haha! Right? It’s an excellent reason. 😀

Oh I love, love, love Belize! That is where we honeymooned. Where are you going on yours? Guatemala was pretty cool, got to hike one volcano to see another erupt!
We are going in June! Before the weather gets too hot, and before too many people show up for yacht week *eyeroll* that is not my type of thing.
Do you mind telling me how much the safari part is costing you? We want to go, and I know some places/camps that are really good are only like $100/day…

@fvsoccer: Absolutely nowhere. But holy freaking WOW!!! that place is gorgeous!

Ours is way more than that! I am jealous! We found the cheapest flights are to Johannesburg and I don’t share tents. The one we are doing is like $550 per person for 2 nights/3 days. We are going through African Budget Safaris to Kruger Private Reserver and our flight on Lufthansa through Munich (with our 10 day layover) was $1100

Even though I’ve said before I’m so done with the islands, I may be going to Aruba in April.. I am going to talk with a travel agent about it soon because I don’t know where to start.
Between Aug 2012-Sep 2013, I have been to South Africa, Zimbabwe, Aruba (6hr layover), Suriname, London x3 (for work), Germany, Florida x2 (for work), San Diego (for work), Cabo San Lucas (for work), and Provence.
Now I am 8 months pregnant so I am not planning to go anywhere this year!
