We are going to Japan, locations we will be going to: Miyajima, Hiroshima, Okayama, Kurashiki, Takamatsu, Kyoto, Koyasan, Takayama, Hakone, Tokyo.  We are stoked and we leave on Sunday 🙂

I have heard only amazing things about it and I look forward to sharing with you when I return.

Good Luck planning your next trip!  There are so many wonderful places to see!

What are you looking for out of your trip if you don’t mind me asking?

We are going to New York City! We wanted to go to Ireland, but it’s outside our recession-friendly budget. There’s so much to do there, and as long as you stay outside the city and near a subway, you can stay there for pretty cheap!! I’d definitely advise you to join some kind of rewards program since it sounds like you guys travel a bit- you can get rewards with either airfare or hotel or both- so you can reap the benefits. Since Mr. Lytical and I are doing the long distance thing, we’ve built up some serious hotel points by staying at a particular chain so that 3 of the 5 nights we’re staying in NYC are paid for. Same with airfare- we’re getting one of our roundtrip airfares free.

We’re going to French Canada – mainly Quebec City, Montreal and Ottawa. We’re not big beachy people and besides we already live near very popular beachy places in CA, so we wanted to go somewhere different, but not to expensive 🙂

We are going to Punta Cana! We arent staying where the now Mrs. Sea Breeze stayed and I wish I had known about her resort earlier, it looked beautiful. I tend to stalk TripAdvisor and as always take the reviews with a grain of salt.

we did a double honeymoon!

we stayed at the st. regis in aspen for 3 nights and then flew straight to cancun to stay at the excellence resort in playa mujeres.

our honeymoon was so awesome because we got to snowboard and then lay out on the beach.

We went to Oahu and Big Island and we loved it!  Delightfully tropical with just enough stuff to do to keep you busy, but you always have the option of lazing out by the beach and relaxing when you want to chill out.

P.S.  Sorry to hear that the trip didn’t go well!

Love the double Honeymoon idea Mrs. Leopard.  We also stayed at the same place as you in Mexico!  How did you enjoy your stay there?

Boy is in charge of the honeymoon, but he shared with me that he’s looking for an all inclusive in the Carribean.  All of the photos I have seen so far are beautiful!

We still haven’t figured out how much of honeymoon we’ll be able to afford. The least we’ll do is a minimoon-rent a cabin for a few days at a state park a few hours away.

@ Lillindy – we loved it!  can’t wait to go back.  my only complaint (and it’s not the resort’s fault) is that we got the rooftop terrace room with the private pool.  it was too darn cold to get in it.  we still laid out up there but it would have been nice to use the pool too.

what did you think of it?

We’re doing a trip up Highway 1. We’re getting married in San Diego and from there we’re gonna drive up to San Fran with making stops up the way.

Kauai!!! I LOVE Hawaii – so relaxing! When you picture a tropical island, this is it! I can’t wait to go in September of next year! We’re hoping to be there a full two weeks!
