I voted same place, but by that I mean same building, not same room. Our venue has a bridal suite upstairs and a groom’s room downstairs so that the guys and gals each have their own area in which to get ready.

Same place as in same building as well.  We booked two suites on the same floor but on different sides of a hotel to get ready in.

We got ready in a hotel suite and H and his groomsmen were at our apartment down the street.

Same as PPs, everyone got ready together at the venue but the groomsmen had a cottage and the bridal party used the bridal suite and the next door conference room. It worked perfectly.

bluejaybride :  we are doing a Destination Wedding so we will all be at the same resort, but get a complimentary extra room for the day for one group to get ready so the other can use the bridal suite.

It’s still a long way away but I’m hoping to do a 5 or 6 pm ceremony so that I can start my day with breakfast with my parents, then spa morning with my SIL/MOH, Mom and Future Mother-In-Law. Haven’t decided yet whether to include my other two SILs and Future Sister-In-Law. That just seems like a lot of people.

The guys will probably go golfing in the morning and who knows what they’ll get up to the rest of the day haha

Will have to see though. We aren’t even booking our resort til this summer so I’ll have to wait til I have a wedding coordinator to work with to even figure out the time and logistics.

bluejaybride :  Oh I think that’s a great idea, as long as the basement has a bathroom and mirrors and plenty of places to sit, I think the basement will be perfect!

Same as pp.  There’s a brides room where the girlsg will get ready and the boys will use a hotel room which will be the bridal suite that night.

I’m planning to get ready at my parent’s house and then my fiance and his friends will likely get ready at our own home. We’re doing a tea ceremony at my parent’s as our first wedding “activity” so I thought it would make sense just to do it like that. Once the guys finish getting ready, they will meet us at my parents. I was worried about the logistics for photography but I think we have a 2nd shooter so the 2nd shooter will likely go meet the guys when the primary photographer meets us at my parents. I’m planning to wear a Chinese wedding dress and a traditional white dress so we’ll do two first looks, which will be interesting.

Fiance and his best men will be getting ready at Fiance and I’s place. I and my Maid/Matron of Honor (my sister) will be at my parents’ place.
