We’re going to Costa Rica, but not til October when Fiance gets his vacation days (he works for an airline, and they have to "bid" on which week to take vacation. Those with seniority get to pick first)
we are going to Austin for a few days. Then we are going to go on a cruise later in the year with a few other couples.
Our wedding is in March, but we are honeymooning in April. Our good friend is getting married 3 weeks after us in Hawaii, and it doesnt make sense financially for us to go on a honeymoon, and take off work and then turn right around and go to Hawaii for their wedding. Mr. Dumpling is in that wedding, so we have to be there.
So, we are going to Hawaii. Ive never been there, but I hear the weather will be great!
I have NO idea where we’re going. At the beginning of the planning, I was more involved and had grand ideas of trekking through the mediterranean and riding a camel in Egypt…but then I got SO overwhelmed with everything else (and the rising costs), I asked the F if he wanted to plan it…and he did! I think we’re going to either El Salvador (where he grew up) or Honduras. Luckily, either way we just have to pay for plane tickets!
Either way, it’ll be super fun!
We originally wanted to go to Italy, but with all the other wedding costs, we decided to postpone it till a later anniversary.
I think we’ve decided on the Bahamas for a few days. The price is right, and it’s a short flight from Miami. We can relax on the beach, drink fruity cocktails, and for my birthday gift starboy arranged for a dolphin swim!!
We are going to the Sandels Whitehouse European Villa in Jamaica! I can’t tell you how wonderful that sounds after a cold Chicago winter!!
Since we are getting married while we are currently enrolled and attending school we are just going to a bed& breakfast for the weekend. As soon as we are done with school May 15, we will drive up to Northern Minnesota to Lutsen where we will spend a week.
We plan on traveling to Denver in mid-June as well, but with friends. So lots of traveling & wondeful memories to be made!!
We’re thinking Mexico! Not sure what part yet…but that’s what we are planning so far.
We’re honeymooning in Kauai a few days after our wedding! I highly suggest taking advantage of either Costco’s or Sam’s Club’s travel programs if you’re a member! We got a REALLY sweet deal on a pretty inclusive trip and I’m pretty excited about it 🙂
We are going to one of my fiances’ favorite places, Zion National Park. I have never been there with him and he wants it to be special
Excellence Punta Cana 🙂
ARUBA! I cannot wait, I’m probably more excited for the honeymoon than the wedding.
I’m surprised at how many people are minimooning. We’re going to hang out in San Diego for a couple of days after then wedding but then my then-hubby(!) will have to be back at work in Washington by Tuesday (darn Army) so the following weekend, so we’ll have a little road-trip honeymoon in Vancouver the weekend after that.
3 months after our wedding we’re going with a couple of friends to Mazatlan, Mexico to hang out at my parents timeshare as a semi-honeymoon.
I really want to cruise the Mediterranian so we’re going to do that for our one year anniversary (or at the end of his tour in Iraq). It’s all so up in the air.
April is prime time in the Caribbean, how we chose our destination wedding spot. Puerto Rico, San Juan with days in the rain forest, Flamenco Beach- Culebra and in Culebrita. We’ll get home after the week there with family on a friday and spend the weekend all alone in Santa Barbara.
