I already have a registry at Bed Bath because they have so many brands and i can get a vacuum and all sorts of stuff, but when it comes to the quality stuff I am stuck. Williams Sonoma is a classic and has every product I could think of but the style is a bit country, then Bloomingdales is very contemporary but does it have everything I need? what are your thoughts?
Can’t wait to get the scan gun and go nuts already!!! 🙂

Hmmm, well I have both so I didn’t vote. I love them both, for different things. William Sonoma has fantastic kitchen supplies and electrics. They have special models of existing versions that are made especially for them – and often they colaborate with the producer to tweak the design. So I use them primarily for kitchen supplies – cookware and electrics, knives, etc.
I use Bloomingdales for our china, silver and crystal. They have a fantastic supply of formal, informal, modern and classic styles to choose from. They also have a nice supply of luggage and bedding – the latter we will probably add at some point. I’ve also had a great experience working with them. Althought for every rave review of a store there seems to be a bride who has had a horrible experience, so take that as you will.
I think it depends on where your needs lie. Both Bloomie and WS carry vaccuum cleaners. I don’t think there is anything that BBB has that you couldn’t find at the other two. I’d go into both, look at everything and talk to the people work who work there. Also check their websites. Sounds like hard work, but I guess it is unavoidable 😉 Have fun!

Why not both? If you like things at both places? I say Williams Sanoma for pots & pans stuff for sure but maybe Bloomingdales for linnens & bedding?

thanks for the advice! I might scratch Bed bath off the list and do the other 2

i think you could do all three. Bed Bath & Beyond is nice for friends & people on a budget since they can always get the 20% off coupons & things like that, WS is my favorite place on earth (so i would definitely, definitely do that!) and bloomies just has great house things that would wouldn’t find at either, but if you want only two… have you considered doing BB&B & then Williams Sonoma & Williams Sonoma Home?
