I have all these DIY projects I want to do and I don’t want to rush near the wedding… So I’ve been starting the projects but now I’m thinking… where can I store my finished products do it doesn’t get dusty and nasty for a couple months?

Do your parents or your FI’s parents live nearby? Do they live in a house with a basement? I know FI’s parents have offered us to store our wedding gifts in their basement until we move into a bigger place.

In the guest room on the floor, haha. The whole room is littered with wedding crafts, there’s hardly any room to walk in there. Nothing has really gotten dusty that I can tell…if it’s something like silk flowers or fabric things that are dust magnets, cover them with plastic bags or similar.

We had everything in either our guest room or my parents basement, depending on status and size.

I’ve been using document storage boxes! You might consider just bagging your DIYs (sealing them in bin liners or ziplocks) so dust doesn’t get at them… esp. if you have pets!

Right now they are in my bedroom at my parent’s house. I stay with my Fiance at his house every night but he’s moving in to my parent’s house in March until we can find a place so I have no where to put my DIY stuff after that.

Head to the shops and get some rubbermaid tubs… they stack AND keep everything clean! Plus, all the red and green ones are still on sale from Christmas at Home Depot. (Because, you know, you can only use red and green boxes to store Chrustmas things, not wedding stuff!)

Right now most of it is in our spare bedroom with a few other things at my parent’s.

I don’t have many DIYs but I keep them in the guestroom away from my cats.
