I want to hear all about your upcoming or future trips!
Big, small, short, long…doesn’t matter!
SO and I are in the process of planning a trip in January 2020. We have a wedding on St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands and we are staying for 5 nights. We will island hop over to St. John for a day and then we are also doing a big boat trip to the BVIs with the other wedding guests. Then my favorite part that isn’t completely booked is that we are going to travel to Anegada in the BVIs and stay at this resort that has these beach side Palapas. It’s basically glamping, right on the ocean. I just had a conversation with the owners because it’s a bit difficult to get to, but I think we can either ferry it over or take a small plane…they said they will work to get us here!
I plan on booking next week and we’ll deal with transportation a little later.

Ooh that sounds amazing! I would love to visit the Caribbean.
My next trip is at the end of the month, we’re going to the big island of Hawaii for a week. It’s all I can think about a the moment! We’re also hoping to go to Japan for at least a week in the fall, but that’s not finalized. Next year, maybe Italy, or Ireland, or a Germany road trip?! I love planning out different trips and then just choosing one!

Both of those trips sound great! Usually by this time of year we have a summer trip planned, but we’ll be going on our honeymoon in early October. We haven’t actually booked it yet but we are likely going to Italy to go to Rome, Tuscany, and the Amalfi Coast. It was between Italy and Hawaii, a very tough decision! Also hoping over the summer to go somewhere like the Adirondacks or Vermont for a weekend.

That sounds amazing! We’re going to Iceland in July, I’ve blown through most of my vacation and PTO since we did a lot of overseas traveling last year, and then took time off to get married, so it’s a super quick 5 day trip but I’m planning to squeeze a lot in!
Then we have a 4 day trip to a cute little town in the next state over for our anniversary in August.
Thailand is next on my list, hopefully that will be our big trip next year.

We were on Maui and Oahu in October. I do love it there, but the flight from Chicago is SO far. The only saving grace is that there is a direct flight.

- Wedding: September 2020 - York, Nebraska
We are headed to Red Rocks in Colorado for a concert this weekend, and to Memphis in July for a mini-vacation. He works 80-90 hour weeks in the springtime so we can’t wait to get away and relax! Hopefully planning a beach trip for next spring… have fun in the Islands! So jealous!

I really want to go to Iceland! I’m thinking that I might try to plan that trip for my 40th birthday.

We’re going to Yellowstone National Park in September. Our first vacation together 🙂

- Wedding: November 2019 - City, State
Iceland is amazing and WELL worth it. I went two years ago.
We’re planning our honeymoon for next year and will be going to Germany and Norway. I’m so excited. 🙂

We just had a baby so travel is minimal– but we’re going to Florida next month for a week at the beach and then to Mexico this Fall for an adults only trip.
We have some big trips planned coming up in 2020 and 2021, but I just want to sit my ass in a beach chair with a beer in my hand for my next couple of vacations.

We are in Colorado now for my sister-in-law’s wedding. Our next trip is probably camping in Moab in October and then Canada (not sure exactly where as we are in very early planning stages).

I’m going to Sanibel Island, FL in about 10 days for a whole week with my daughter, her boyfriend, and my best friend. We rented a big VRBO place on the beach. I cannot wait. I deperately need a vacation and I haven’t seen my daughter since xmas (she moved to NYC in November to pursue her dreams!). I’ve been many places in FL but never Sanibel and Captiva, so I’m excited to explore that area. I just hope it doesn’t rain the entire time we are there!
I’ve designated 2019 to be the year of travel! So I’m itching to plan my next trip. I was in Napa for 5 days in March. So maybe another trip in July? 🙂

2019 is my year of less travel. We did major renovations on our weekend cabin by ourselves and so now we want to enjoy the fruits of our labor.
I did just remember that I’m going to Vegas in September for a bachelorette party, so that will be a nice trip with my friends.
I also think next year we will go to Lousiville for the Derby and I think I’ll be headed to Napa in March. 2020 will probably be an expensive year.

I wanna go to Spain this fall.

Awesome trips all. I’m not a huge traveler, but I am heading to St. Augustine, FL, for a workshop in September and we are renting a cabin in the GA mountains for Thanksgiving. 🙂
