Hi, everyone! My husband and I are currently rearranging/redoing the furniture in our living room, and we’re in desperate need of a loveseat. We have a really long cough now, but it’s WAY too big for our needs. Where can we buy a cute, modern loveseat that isn’t too long?

I think i’d want to go to a local furniture store and sit on things before i bought anything though. You can pay attention to the name brands and price check online. I know wayfair carries a couple brands that the furniture store i worked at in college did like Ashley.

I’m selling one if you live in Houston. haha
I would go to a local furniture store or a Rooms-to-Go if you have one near you, their quality has gotten better over the years.

Craigslist or your local Facebook Yardsale page. We have some pages specifically for furnishings in my local area. I got my $3k sectional in perfect condition for $500 this way.

Ditto craigslist :). You might also find some clearance deals at local furniture stores.

I wouldn’t do secondhand furniture that you can’t rip down to bare wood to treat in case of bed bugs! Beware craigslist!

cestdanielle: I’m usually all about buying things second-hand if I can, but since bedbugs made a comeback I would probably steer clear of any sort of upholstered second-hand furniture. IKEA has alright ones that are relatively inexpensive.

I found a great quality love seat for cheap at Goodwill! It had outlasted two sofas, one from Pier 1 and one from IKEA-
