On Etsy, you have to make sure you check the ticky box that says “vintage” on the lefthand side or you’ll get replicas. Also change up search terms, as suggested. I would look at:

Engagedwithdiamonds

GoldAdore

hawkantiques

AntiqueVelvetGloves

TrademarkAntiques

CypressCreekVintage

TheCopperCanary

LucyBedeman

TheIdolsEye

LittleCoterie

GemFever

DiamondAddiction

VermaEstateJewels

OtherwiseEngaged

There are also Facebook groups that specialize in vintage/antique jewelry. I highly recommend looking for local antique dealers, and looking on Ruby Lane, there are great pieces there. Happy hunting!

I got this rose cut diamond band on Etsy. It was listed as Art Deco but since its white gold I figure it’s from a younger time. Either way I still love it. The seller didn’t have too much but I was searching rose cut diamond band.

I would switch up my search criteria, for example: old cut diamond, sapphire diamond ring, old mine diamond, estate diamond, antique diamond, target ring, Art Deco diamond ring

Two of my closest friends and I all have engagement rings from The Three Graces: georgianjewelry.com – one of our now-husbands found the site and it started a bit of a chain reaction! My ring is a bit older than Art Deco, but one of my friends has an incredibly intricate and beautiful AD ring from there. I didn’t pick mine out, but from what I heard from my Darling Husband, customer service was excellent and he was able to negotiate the price down.

BellaJewelryShop also has some fantastic rings for great prices! I think you can find a great ring under 500. You just have to look ๐Ÿ˜›

past posters have mentioned great recommendations, eBay is great too, just do your research. Also I noticed that some eBay sellers tend to have an Etsy shop and sometimes hike up their prices on Etsy, so if they have both and the item is listed on both then I would see if there was any wiggle room to be had. Good luck and happy hunting! ๐Ÿ˜Š

For “inexpensive” jewelry, Ruby Lane (think an Etsy/Ebay but exclusively for antiques) can’t be beat. Lots of amazing finds for $500 and under.

Etsy has a ‘filter’ section where you choose ‘vintage’ from the drop down menu. That’s the only way to get real vintage finds!

My ring is from Etsy and is a 1980s ring but it’s a popular style from around the 1910s so I understand the need for vintage!

All my online hunting grounds have already been listed. I ended up buying my ring at a dealer I found at a huge antique fair that happens in my area twice annually. My ring was more than 500 but you can definitely find a great ring in that price range if you are willing to hunt!

I got mine from Love Affair Diamonds! She was a pleasure to work with and I am beyond thrilled with my beauty!

Just wanted to add that we bought my diamond from her and had the setting custom made. That’s what happens when I don’t read the full post! lol But I would still take a look at her website and I believe she has pre made rings that may fit  your budget!
