Hello again bees,
I’ve been seeing these fantastic black and white striped envelope liners, and am having major liner envy. Anyone know where I can buy them (to fit A7 envelopes) or possibly have a print template so that I can print them at envelopper.com? They were selling them at Smock for about $400 for 200 liners, but I’m sure there’s a cheaper option out there–I’d have to be smoking something pretty potent to pay that much for liners! Good heavens…for that much, I can have my invites letterpressed on Crane’s double-thick paper…

I bought a ream of hot pink paper for $12 and dismantled one of my envelopes, and made my own liner. I traced around the “template” onto my hot pink paper with a pencil, then used a little paper cutter to cut it out. I used Zip Dry (or a similar gummy-type paper glue) to attach to the flap, but didn’t glue down the whole thing since I figure it would need to move up and down.
I’m sure you could find black-and-white striped paper somewhere local or online for cheap! It took me about three episodes of Modern Family to make and glue mine the other night, but I only had 50 invites 🙂

I made my envelope liners too! Here is the tutorial that I used: http://gluegunannie.com/?p=109
Even tho it seems like pain, it goes by quickly…
And It looks like there are some websites that sell different kind of b&w striped paper… The paper is larger, so you might be able to get a few out of each piece…I hope this helps!

Paper source has black and white paisley:
They cut their liners to order though so you could try asking if they would do a stripe for you
Mountain Cow has a couple of black and white options- no stripe
They also do custom work- $1 per liner though
