I absolutely love this dress, and actually I love the whole look of this wedding! Is there a name for this type of dress? I think the bride said she got it at a discount store, so I probably wouldn’t be able to find it online.
Anyone know of anywhere to find this type of dress?

You can also do an alchemy request on etsy and someone may be able to make something similar

@julies1949:
That first dress isn’t handmade at all. It’s by a brand called Coniefox that’s commonly sold on eBay, and sometimes on etsy. While there’s nothing at all wrong with buying a mass-produced dress, it’s completely against etsy’s rules and they’re basically cheating the system by pretending to be handmade. Regretsy pointed out a similar seller here:

Maggie Sottero has some similar styles, and you could add buttons and sleeves or a bolero for the same look.

@besotted: Thanks for the information. I would not have posted that dress if I knew the Etsy seller was being that unethical.

@julies1949: I’m sure you wouldn’t have, and I’m sorry if my post came across as if I was accusing you! It’s such a gorgeous dress, and it’s sometimes very hard to spot what’s handmade and what’s not.

@besotted: not to worry, you didn’t come across as accusatory. I just wanted the OP to have an apology in case I steered her in the wrong direction.
