I am decorating my bouquet holders with a brooch and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find some cheap ones. I also might use them to accessorize the corsages I will be making for the female family members. Thanks!!

If you have time – check out aliexpress.com. I bought a lot of brooches right from china. They do take almost a month to get here though – so beware if you are in a rush. I also purchased some from ebay but those actually took longer – over a month.

Maybe ask your family/friends if they have any to loan/give?
I found a few at the Salvation Army/Thrift Stores too.
I’ve purchased a few lots (10+) off ebay for about $10 including shipping, and individual ones for as low as $0.60!

@julies1949: +1 on EBay
I was making Not Wedding Related headpieces, and I found that EBay had some really nice (yet cheap!) brooches. Only thing is it depends on where you are – delivery may take a while as they usually ship from China or Hong Kong. So just allow yourself a few weeks if you go that route.

I bought some gold ones from Darling Husband Gate, allibaba/allieexpress, ebay, etsy, and the flea market! Darling Husband Gate and alliexpress had a HUGE selection.

@futureluckymrs: Ebay! Or ask your family members if they have any.
I purchased a few on ebay for about $.99 each
ETA: You could even use pendants, earrings, hair pieces, etc.

Try your local antique/vintage store! 🙂 You could also try rubylane.com.

I had been looking for brooches on Amazon and Etsy, but I just found a bunch for half off at my local Hobby Lobby. Not sure if you have one by you or if sales are the same at all stores, but all wedding related stuff was 50% off. 🙂

To buy wholesale, as in several of the same design, I would suggest a craft store, Etsy, or Ebay, as others have suggested. However, if you have time to do so, check your local consignment shops, Salvation Army, and Goodwills. I purchased over two dozen from Goodwills in my area. They are within the guideline I’ve set myself ($3 and under per brooch). I’ve also purchased lots from Hobby Lobby and Michael’s, but they were more like pendants than actual brooches.
