walmart! I bought my mason jars there (that I didn’t end up using, grr..) but regardless, they have a bunch of different sizes. I found them in the canning section (in the kitchen area).

ETA – the sunday paper coupons (and the ones that just come throughout the week) typically have mason jar coupons. $1 off, etc – check couponmom.com occassionally too!

I second sorrycharlie – my local Walmart always has multiple sizes of mason jars that would be very cute for favors.

I used 4 oz jelly jars. They are quilted mason jars and look like this:

You can get them from walmart or tractor supply for about $7-8 for 12

You can order them online from Walmart and have it shipped to the store.  That way you don’t have to pay for the shipping cost.

@peaches1038: I was just about to suggest those! Our local Wal-Mart and Kroger carries them 🙂

I was going to say I got a great deal on kmart.com.  Free shipping too… I ordered the little 8 oz jars…best price I saw. They shipped right to the house.

@kermie: Once it gets a little closer to canning season, Walmart may pick them up again!
