Hello All:
I have an idea of what I want for a dress but don’t really know what the name of the fabric is or where I could get it. I’m not really into the shiny satin or poofy kinds of dresses. I’m looking more for something like this but in white and with some straps.

Can you tell what type of fabric this is and where I can find more dresses like it?
Thanks for your help!
Best,
YouSoSweet

I don’t know what type of fabric that dress is, but it’s by Claire Pettibone. She was a lingerie designer who decided to start making wedding dresses, so her designs are very flowy and gorgeous.
That’s actually one of our WeddingbeePRO’s in the photo- Chelsea Petaja! She had the most gorgeous wedding ever!

Oh wow! Thank you so much for your response! And how cool that the dress in question was worn by one of weddingbee’s own! : )

The style reminds me of several of the Reem Acra dresses I tried on this past fall (not sure if they were Fall 2008 or Spring 2008, it was at the NY store)…but I can’t seem to find those on the website. Maybe they were limited to the flagship store or something.
