I actually know of a couple of accessory stores in my local mall (way higher end than a claire’s!) that sells veils for about $20-30. Perhaps you can check out one in your neighborhood? Or if you live in a big city– be sure to check out the garmet district too! 🙂

I got two veils from Etsy, one a fingertip lace, the other a birdcage (I ordered the former, then changed my mind and decided I wanted a birdcage). I paid $25 for the first, and around $40 for the second (but it included a hair comb). You should look around there, I found a lot of very reasonably priced veils.

Ebay, that is where I got mine and it was half the price from what was listed on several bridal websites
Mine was 25 with shipping and handling

Occansey Designs has great veils for really reasonable prices also glamgal.com has great ones for reasonable prices. I got mine from glamgal, but I wanted a fabric that only she had at the time. If you are from around here, everyone gets theirs from Occansey. She can even get you a custom design for your price range.

Dressilyme has wedding veils for a very inexpensive price. You can also send them an image for a custom and they will quote you. You can add crystals, lace, whatever! It doesn’t get too pricey with them. My guess is $25 with shipping. Good quality!
I ordered a dress from them and if I wanted a veil then I would have ordered it from their but I choose a non veil option.
Good luck! Other than that Ebay or Dhgate seem to be good. What type are you looking for?

thanks, thats great to know! i just get freaked out about budget sometimes and wonder how i am going to afford everything i still need to get,
basically stay away from the bridal boutiques! that’s the only place i have seen them so far for ridiculous prices!

David’s Bridal has a few simple ones for less than $50. You could also try places like Joann’s or Michael’s; they stock basic ones and you could accessorize it/add some bling if you want!

Sometimes bridal store throw in a free veil for the purchase of a gown. I got one with my purchase.

@swtTea: i ordered my gown already, didnt say anything about a free veil, but i do get 10% off anything in the store. but 10% off 200 is not much!

I bought mine from Etsy’s abusymother. I bought a cathedral veil for $29.99. I havent received it yet, so I don’t know the quality. However, she has excellent reviews here.

I got mine on ebay for $12 before shipping. It’s gorgeous, and it has a little bit of beading on it too. I can’t remember the name of the actual store, but they had a wide selection of styles, lengths, and ivory/white.
I agree with you – paying $200 for a piece of fabric, beads, and a comb is a little pricey for me too!

Ebay has some really pretty veils!

I would be careful about ordering from Buyer100. Do your research. There are countless consumer reports online of brides who have been ripped off by them and their sister company. A quick Google search will show you what I’m talking about.
