Hi Linds,

I did this same exact thing at my reception but for sparing our attire from the cake and everything else.

Everyone LOVED the idea and it added the extra touch of not having to worry about stains on our outfits (especially since I’m Queen Klutz).

Here’s a link for some inexpensive bibs, if it helps. Take lots of pictures with them on!

Hi Linds,

You can try these links, all from the same site.  I love the idea of the plastic rib bibs because they’re much less expensive than the paper variety plus I think plastic would protect much better. I also like the plain white bib with the pocket for added protection (for klutz eaters like me). What do you think?

I’m such a huge fan of this idea. So much so, that I did the exact same thing at my reception. Everyone loved the fact that they could enjoy their meal without worrying about the spill factor and I spared my gown the inevitable stains that happen when you think about something too much. I love your idea of personalizing the bibs although I just opted for the plain-jane plastic white variety placed at every setting.  I’m another pro-bib bride and I’m sure you’ll find there are a large majority of us that believe you are a thoughtful person to think about all the details and include your guests. Post the photos!

We’re doing the same type of backyard BBQ wedding and definitely need bibs and wetnaps! Here’s a good site with an “I Love Ribs” bib! I haven’t seen them in person, but they like standard disposable plastic bibs. All the custom stuff seems pricier, but really cute!

@Linds1769:  Hey, who did you end up using?  We’re looking to do the same thing for our bbq wedding and were hoping to make them with pictures on them:)
