I’ve seen a couple cakes with batter designs inside like this one from I Am Baker:
But I can’t seem to find a tutorial for how to do something like this myself. Anyone know how to do it or where I can find the info on it?

usually, you make the center piece out of colored marzipan and basically just drop in into the pan once you’ve poured the cake batter.

That looks like they cut out the center after baked and then assembled the decorative part then put the 2 layers of cake together. You can see how there is a filling between the white layers but not the colored part

Ahh! It is done post baking! I remembered one of the other cakes I’ve seen like this and turns out it’s also from I Am Baker:
