I ended up buying a brooch from fabulousbrooch.com for my bouquet hahaa. It looks so good!!!!!
The only thing that ticks me off is that it cost more to ship it to me than the brooch cost x_x but I guess shipping costs decrease when you buy more items

I bought most of them from a seller on here, and others at thrift stores.

THAT IS STUNNING! I think that is the prettiest one I have seen to date. I am a long way off to actually getting married (2 yrs at least), but maybe I need to start collecting them now!

I bought almost all of mine on ebay. It was tough to find them affordably, but I tried not to pay more than $2-3 per brooch, including shipping.
That said, I decided to do paper flowers instead, so now I’m trying to sell all the brooches I bought – http://classifieds.weddingbee.com/topic/tons-of-brooches-for-sale – let me know if you’d be interested!

I’m working on brooch bouquet for my future SIL. Since the engagement, I have been OBSESSED. I am an importer from China so immediately got on that. I have a ton of brooches relatively cheap. You can email me for more info [email protected]
Here’s the one I’m working on for her but I think I may have to do it on ivory. The original colors were black/ivory/deep red. Now they’re ivory/silver.
I loVe the way they sparkle against the red thought…

ooo fabulous idea to look for earrings with out a mate! love it!
ooo you buy in bulk from china? Which ones to do you have and at what cost?
I’m buying most of mine on eBay for no more than $2-$3 each including shipping…
The trick I’m finding about eBay is that you find a seller who will combine shipping for you to bring the cost of individual brooches down to reasonable…
Some are SO PRICEY but others come in lots and its awesome.
I’m trying for only flower, round or butterfly shapes in silver & gold but I also want a BIG ONE soooo I’m probably spending more on my bouquet than I would have if I DIY’d it but its super special because I can keep it for long after! YAY BROOCH BOUQUET BRIDES!
Look for brooch lots on eBay as well… definitely shipping is what kills it but if you can find a seller that has a lot of brooches you like & can get a them to use a flat rate envelope for $5.25 then you’re on your way to scoring a good deal.

If there’s a freecycle in your local area, post a Wanted ad (just read the freecycle rules before making wanted posts) and you might be surprised how many free ones you get. There are *always* people offering to give away single brooches or even shoeboxes full of brooches on my area freecycle.
