I didn’t want robes to say “bridesmaid” on them…so I just bought them at the Victoria’s Secret

I’ve seen some at, especially silk kimono robes, at KimonoRobeStore.com.  Prices go from $40 for a floral silk robe to $55 for a reversible robe (which I really think is cool!) and $85 for the knee-length ones.

@TroubadourTango:  Do you want real kimono? and if so what sleeve length would you like?

http://www.net-shinei.co.jp/com/index.php  <~ this is the site i import from and they have very good prices!. If you want cotton and machine washable I recommend Yukata. If you’d like a little more fancy houmongi or tomesode. If you want to go all out with the most colorful and princess like then look at furisode with very long sleeves but it is not practical. Oh and you will need something to tie the kimonos. If you don’t want to invest the time or money on Obi then get a few packs of obi ties or if you want something a little nice maybe an Obi age. Yeah I have freakish knowledge of this because Maid/Matron of Honor and I run a kimono club. The red kimono I am wearing is furisode.
