I just went to look at some of the Alfred Angelo Modern Vintage dresses, which I thought were nice.  I’m going to Terry Costa tomorrow.

You can also try Macy’s and Nordstrom’s bridal department.

I have two bridesmaids and I’m letting them pick thier own dress. My Maid/Matron of Honor got hers from Dillards in Dallas, its quite beautiful actually. I’m probably not much help since you probably want a more traditional dress.

I haven’t gotten to that step yet, but the last time I was in a wedding we ordered from bridesmaids.com. They have great prices on mainstream dresses.

Do you have an idea of what you like? Long or short? Strapless or straps?

I’m probably a bit of an odd-ball, but mine were from Express:

Alfred Angelo. Each girl picked a different dress – same fabric & color. I loved some of the J. Crew dresses online but they are expensive (at least to me)  – plus they’re online and I wanted to see them in person.

My girls bought theirs online at lilyboutique.com but we ordered all at once because the style we got was almost gone. But there is a Terry Costa in Dallas, and there is a new one in Allen also. Then there is Brides by Demitrios in Frisco, I looked there and they had really pretty bridesmaids dresses. There is also a place called Bridal co in Allen and Pure Luxe Bridal in Allen. Bridal co has a lot of styles and I think Pure luxe only carries Allure.

Just following up with this topic– We decided to do Rent the Runway for bridesmaid dresses. I’ll let you all know how it goes.

I had my girls choose their own (same color, length and material but they got to select  the style).

One girl got hers at a little bridal boutique. It was on the sample rack on sale for $50. It needed to be take in a little but but that only cost her $35.

Another one got hers from an ebay store. I would NOT recommend that. It ended up being a nightmare.

My other 2 got theirs from the same girl on etsy named Aiguo. Her store is called harsuccthing.  They both turned out BEAUTIFULLY and fit them perfectly.

Everyone paid less than $125 after shipping when it was all said and done.
