I ordered my veil from bestbridalprices.com.  It was about $150.  The bridal shop I found it at quoted it over $200, so I saved some money.  Best Bridal Prices is an online store that has a brick and mortar store just outside of St. Louis (I have been to it), so it isn’t replicas.  My veil was order and came in very quickly.  I am also getting my bridesmaids dress from them as well and have been very happy with them.

I got a great deal on mine and i loved it! i only paid $35 for it but i’ve checked back a few times since i bought it and i don’t think they sell veils anymore 🙁

would you be against a used one? recycled bride has a veil section and the pictures really help get an idea of what it looks like on.

you can even search by price.

May sound tacky, but I went to Michael’s. I only spend like $15 and will “doctor” it up with more beading. I only plan on wearing it during the ceremony… not even sure I’ll take any pictures with it on at this point. Didn’t see the point in spending more for 30 minutes.

Ebay!  $25.   I think the seller was venus veils.  Simple one tier beaded edge elbow length.

I purchased mine from an etsy seller. It was a simple, rough edged chapel length…nothing fancy, so it’s hard to mess it up. I think it was around $35.

Occansey Designs. They have a *lot* of great reviews on the hive, so I felt totally comfortable ordering from them. You can order pre-made veils or they can custom make them for you. Customer service is great, and my veil is amazing and was like $35. Here’s the website. You should check it out. 🙂

Promise I’m not a vendor, I’m just trying to share the wealth!

I had my alterations lady make mine.  It saved me so much money.  I wanted a cathedral lenght mantilla and was seeing prices in the $400s everywhere.  Even the cheap scratchy ones were in the $300.

She made it to my specifications and I think it ultimately came out to about $130.

I bought all three of my veils from davids bridal. I bought a tulle blusher for $20, a crystal birdcage veil for $24 and a metal edged cathedral veil for $149

I got mine for free from the store I bought my dress. I really liked this one veil so my sister/MOH asked how much and we were told $150. My sales consultant then tells me that they also rent out veils and for $100, I can rent three items, such as a veil, gloves and headpiece. She informed us that the veils they rent out are brand new. So my sister asked what happens to the veils that are returned and my sales consultant said they just throw them out as they have boxes of veils downstairs. Doesn’t make sense right?

I actually got really chummy with my sales consultant so I just asked her to throw in the veil for free if they have boxes of them downstairs and she agreed! So it never hurts to ask.

I don’t have the veil with me right now as it is with my sister, so no pic, but it’s mid-length and is lightly trimed with beads and pearls. very pretty.

Have you considered making one yourself? My mother made mine and it couldn’t have been more perfect!
