I need help finding blue bridesmaid dresses!! It’s such a tricky color to chose online and it’s hard to tell from those little swatches.
If you have a photo of the dress on a real girl, can you please post?

I don’t have any pics of my bridesmaids, but I suggest that you take at least one of your bridesmaids to a bridal store and have her try on different colors of blue dresses. I did that (3 of my bridesmaids came with) at David’s Bridal and finally chose a color called "pool"; however, I went into the store thinking I wanted the color "cornflower" because I liked the way it looked in pictures and online. So, unless you have a girl or two try on the different shades of blue, you really won’t know. You’ll know the right shade when you see it on!

I ordered Ann Taylor’s Christine dress in Cornflower and in Pacific Blue, and ended up going with the Pacific Blue…..sorry, no pictures yet, but it is a pretty, non-pastel blue that I think will be flattering on different skin tones.

we also got dresses from david’s bridal. there are at least 4 blue satin colors to choose between, including pool, cornflower, serene and oasis. it really helps to see them in person & david’s bridals are all over the place. besides how it will look on your girls you should consider how the shade of blue looks with your dress…. my dress is champagne but it seemed to me that even white vs ivory can change the way the blue color looks.

I ordered my bridesmaid’s dresses from Netbride, have yet to recieve them but so far the service was good. Anyway I ordered Watters gowns in Pacific Blue – similar to a cornflower/un-purply periwinkle. They have lots of styles – check out watters.com for their full line. In the bridal salons, the gown we went with was about $250, and we got it for $187 with shipping through netbride. Good luck!

I got my blue dress for a friends wedding at Forever 21. And no it does not look like club wear. LoL It’s a flowy dress with a satin sash. The best part was I got it for $12 bucks!

Ann Taylor has some very lovely dresses in blue! I was recently a bridesmaid (but wore brown) but I’ve worn my dress 3 times after the wedding. And they fit "Real Women".Â

“Midnight” is a lovely color from Aria- very dark, but more vibrant than a true navy. That’s what we went with.

Has anyone seen an After Six Matte Satin in Windsor Blue??
I found Windsor Blue in "Duchess Satin" but not sure if the color varies significantly between Duchess & Matte Satin.

Aria Bridesmaids did mine – periwinkle and light blue. They’ll send you swatches if you want.

we went with "Serene" from David’s Bridal. The girls had their choice of 4 different dresses. It looks much different in person then it did online so i can understand completely why you are having a difficult time!

- Wedding: August 2007 - The Wellington House in Fayetteville, NY
We got navy blue, lace dresses from Bari Jay Bridesmaids.
The sash in this picture didn’t come with it. It’s just a scarf she tried on when we were playing around with ideas.

I know this thread is from awhile back but I still wanted to post!
I found these dresses at Nordstrom Rack for 40 each! Orginally 200! My mom actually had pulled one out as an idea for a dress for me and I got the idea to use them for the wedding when I saw how many there were!
I pretty much knew what size each girl would wear (they are small, medium, large and extra large sizes) but I bought all they had (10) and had each girl try them on. They ended up being perfect for each (exactly the sizes I thought they were going to be!). I returned the the other ones – and kept one for me too!
Sorry that the quality of the photo isn’t that great.
