everyone has such good taste! I was thinking of getting the Dessy twist wrap dress to accommodate everyone of my BM’s different body types. Does anyone have experience with this dress?

I didn’t want a typical bm dress..and I wanted to make sure my girls would wear theirs again so I gave them a website for a local boutique and they chose this one.

@Ms.Teddy – I got my dresses from Aria and we love them! Their customer service is great. I highly recommend the silk shantung fabric – it is really nice quality but very lightweight (which was important for us because it’s an outdoor summer wedding and could be very hot/humid in the northeast).  My girls are wearing the lime green cocktail length, but I let them pick their own styles within that color. All my girls love their dresses and hopefully yours will too 🙂

Marlew – that dress is fabulous! I also wanted unique dresses, so my girls are wearing floral-print silk dresses. My mom almost died when she found out the Bridesmaid or Best Man had a pattern! She thinks I’m being totally scandalous. Is a print Bridesmaid or Best Man dress really that scandalous?

EVERYBODY is having a sale right now!!! So check out Banana, JCrew, Ann Taylor, Nordstroms, Neiman Marcus (sometimes they have big enough sales they aren’t exhorbantly priced!), etc!

@schwickmar HAHAHA I LOVE your dresses too! The pockets are awesome! I liked how flattering this dress was on all of my bridesmaids and they all seemed super comfortable in them. Your gals look beautiful!

Not gonna lie, I kinda want one myself… Wink

I’m like @sandypie – I’m letting my BMs pick their own dress in different shades of yellow! It’s another thing I don’t have to worry about!

My aunt is a seamstress and she’s custom making our bridesmaids’ dresses. I wish I had a picture to show you… but I don’t yet. Maybe after the wedding. But just wanted to give you that option to have a seamstress custom make you dress. Is that a possibility?
