My sweetie and I really wanted to see a moissanite ring in person (ok, moreso him than me… I had fallen in love with moissy). So I contacted Charles & Colvard directly and they gave me two of the closest physical jewelers that got their stock direct. Granted, they were both two hours away, but we made it into a day trip and we are SO glad we did this. I fell even more in love with moissanite and my fiance got to erase the doubts that he had about “not getting a diamond” and his thoughts that it may look cheaper than a diamond, etc. I would highly recommend emailing C&C and seeing if they can recommend a place to look at it in person.

We got to pick up my ring two days ago and I’m STOKED! So is the fiance…. he’s happy that he could get me my dream ring on our budget (I’m a college student until May graduation and then he’s going to graduate school in August after our July wedding… TIGHT budget).

Whew! Sorry for the rambling. Lol. Here’s what mine looks like (I can’t stop sharing pics of it… eeck!). Pictures don’t do it justice though. Size 6.25 ring, one carat round Forever Brilliant moissanite with a .18 diamond halo set in palladium. So sparkly in person!

Mine came from MoissaniteCo.com. We are VERY happy with the product and the experience.

I know there have been some posts about bad quality and customer service, but my ring is 2+ years old and it still looks exactly the same as the day I got it. And I am a HUGE clutz and constantly whacking it off of stuff and it’s totally fine.

I get compliments on it all the time and wouldn’t change a thing.

Not bad for around $600, In My Humble Opinion.

We got my ring and stone from MoissaniteCo, the ring and is awesome but I’ve been thinking about getting a RHR from Schubach’s because they have those amazing peachy pink OECs and this beautiful antique replica setting I have been eyeing.

I actually got mine from overstock.com. I was looking at moissy co and they both had pretty much the same ring but oversrtock.com was $600 cheaper! I am very please with my ring quality and moissanite quality it comes with authenticity from Charles and Colvard. We are very happy!

Here’s a picture just engaged 3/10/13. Its a 6.5 um enhanced moissanite center with 1/4 diamond band. On a size 5.75 finger.

Hope this helps!
