I got my birdcage veil at JoAnns for $7.50. I’ll also be wearing a large flower…I got it for $3 at Hobby Lobby & am deconstructing it & adding some “bling” in the center ($3). So, $13.50 total.

With the 20% (or was it 30? I don’t remember) off Michael’s coupon I got mine for less than $10.  Bridal veils are the prime example.  Most of them use cheap fabrics, sewn to a comb.  In My Humble Opinion, people won’t notice the quality of the fabric.  Especially if you only wear it for the ceremony, when people will be a short distance away from you (rather than talking directly to you when they may be able to notice such thing).  I don’t notice much of a difference between my veil and the $100+ viels at the bridal shop.  If I didn’t get the one I did, I planned to use Etsy.

@baliahi1029 I made mine for under $10. Even if you don’t want to make yours, I highly recommend buying some tulle to play around with, so you can figure out what look you want. Tulle is super cheap, so the investment is worth it!

I got mine in a small, independently-owned bridal milinery shop that I happened across in the Fabric District of a local large city.  I had originally planned on making my own, but none of the fabric shops had the material I was looking for, and the lady who ran the milinery shop was so sweet and helpful!  It ended up costing more than making my own would’ve, but also being a saner decision (given the amount of embroidery and beading I’d had in mind to do).  The veil is *gorgeous*, plus I got to support a local small business.  Milinery shops for the win!
