My wedding isn’t till next year but I’m trying to get a headstart so I can have an idea of my budget-vs-actual-spending. I have my eyes set on this veil by Bel Aire but I just can’t seem to justify paying this much for it. The store I got my gown from is selling it for 170, which to me, is still quite a lot. Where did you ladies get your veils and how much did you pay for them?
Here’s a picture of the veil.

I ordered a little birdcage veil from etsy. My bridal salon wanted a fortune for one, which I thought was riduiculous. I paid $25.

I bought it through my salon, and it was about what your salon quoted you!

Mine is a really plain, simple veil from David’s Bridal. It was around $20, and it is exactly what I wanted.

I bought one from Etsy for $30 and I made a different style of veil at home for about $10 to have different options.

I got my veil from etsy as well! I wanted a really simple raw-edged tulle veil, and I found the perfect one from Brenda’s Bridal Veils. Only $36!

I’ll buy one from the salon where I got my dress. I haven’t really even looked to see what they have, but I have $200 credit towards a veil there plus an extra $100 gift card to spend. So I’d rather do that then pay additional $!

Thanks, bees. Looks like almost all of you have gotten/are getting your veils from Etsy!
@MissBabeski: I love your veil!!!!
@sarahbabs: Thank you for recommending a seller!
@kes18: I don’t blame you! I would, too!
Anyone out there getting a lace-edged, fingertip and/or 2-tiered veil? Any other Etsy sellers worth checking out?

I made mine! I agree that veil prices are insane. I had the time to cut, sew, and hot-fix about 300 swarovski rhinestones onto my veil.

Someone said they got theirs off lightinthebox and it was real inexpensive. I am eyeing one on there that is only $20.

@acebride: Your veil is beautiful!!!! You did such a good job! 🙂
@mojoh: I just checked out lightinthebox.com. I can’t believe how inexpensive they all are!

I got mine from valuveil.com. It was $7.99 plus shipping! lol. I really only want one for pictures and probably won’t be wearing it for very long. It is perfect.
