BurlapnLace:  Really pretty engagement ring! Love it. I think a simple eternity pave band would be pretty with your ring. Also, I got my husband three tungsten rings from an online store. They always have them on sale, plus have additional 10% off coupon codes and free shipping! And, his rings are excellent. Same as in stores, but a third of the price. Justmensrings (dot) com… I wrote it out because it never lets me post it..

Mine is coming from Apples of Gold and online jewelry store.

My FIs is coming from an etsy seller.

For us it’s the best way to find something that fits us exactly.

We ordered FI’s ring from Helzberg. We could have ordered almost the same ring for a lot less online, but he was very happy with the exact ring he tried on from there.

It was about $260 after taxes and the warranty. It should be here any day! I’m hoping we stay under $500 for my band. I’m most likely going to order a scalloped, marquise and dot half eternity from Mco. They quoted me at about $450, so yay!

We ordered custom bands from the same goldsmith that created my engagement ring.  We spent $1200 15 years ago, so I’m sure they are much more expensive now than they were at that time.

I got my ring (plain plat band) from Blue Nile. I would highly recommend them – you can definitely get a beautiful white or rose gold half-eternity for <$1000. Their customer service is great as well. If you call and tell them your budget and exactly what you are looking for, they can help you choose something. Plus its easy to return in case you don’t like it.

We got FI’s ring from Amazon – he actually ended up ordering SIX rings because he couldn’t decide, even after trying on similar styles in real life. Thankfully, they are tungsten so all 6 cost less than $100 all together. My Fiance preferred the darker gray tungsten, rather than the white you see in most of the jewelry stores, so Amazon ended up working out well for him.

I got mine custom from Etsy.  You can get just what your looking for super cheaper then at a chain store.  I’m ordering a custom bracelet now that was $5000 at Tiffany’s, $3000 custom at Jardes an $900 on etsy. (It’s a diamond by the yard style .50 tcw).

Etsy stores have no over head but also no marketing cost ect.  So you just pay for the work and material cost. Not the business mark up

BurlapnLace:  I bought a plain gold band fom Walmart.com for under $50.  His ring is a Triton tungsten band that we found at Helzberg at the mall but bought from Bello Marc online for $200.

Mine was passed down from FI’s mother, and it wasn’t even made as a wedding ring. It was just a really pretty ring (she owns a ton of jewelry she doesn’t wear all the time). So I’m wearing that, and Fiance loses rings a lot (he’s already lost his engagement ring, in fact) so he bought a bunch of plain bands online for I think $10 each and he plans to wear them until he loses them all, at which point we’ll buy more. It’s cheap and we both think it’s a great idea. There’s no way I’d want to spend all that money on something we may lose.

We didn’t have a high budget, but I got my wedding ring for 250$ on My Jewelry Box.. 🙂 They have inclusions in the diamonds, but you can only see them if you put it extremely close to your face.

We got mine at the same store he got my engagement ring at. His family already had a relationship with the store and the owners, so it just made sense. We haven’t gotten his band yet, but I imagine we’ll at least look at the same place first before going elsewhere. They’ve been awesome!
