We met in college when my Mr. failed to execute a complete stop at a stop light and rear-ended my car! Luckily there was no damage but we still exchanged info just in case…and then he called and offered to take me to dinner to apologize. I drive by the spot we met everyday on my way to class and my tire marks are still on the road almost two years later!

for real!! I really did stalk too haha… he’s a hottie! He went to a satellite campus of our college his first year, my second… so all of us sophomore girls stalked the boys out there. 🙂

we met in…get this…a bar! seriously. it was actually one of the main dance clubs here in indy – i was out with a friend, decided THAT was the night that i was so sick of men and only wanted to go dance by myself…my husband came dancing up to me and we kept dancing.
when we left that night, he kept asking me to go back to his place just to “crash” since he lived close – and didn’t want me driving home (i was ok)…thing is HE was drunk!
anyways – he asked if i wanted his number and i told him I “forgot” my phone (had it one me, but didn’t want to take it and be tempted to call…) so I gave him mine thinking “if he’s really worth it, he’ll call me” and – well, he did! and the rest, as they say, is history!

I met my Fiance in high school! I was a freshman and he was a sophmore and we both ran track. Our parents both worked late, so we always hung out waiting to be picked up. He asked me to be his girlfriend after a track meet and he asked me to marry him almost 9 years later!
here is the first picture of us:
and here we are 9 years later on the day he proposed!

Aww some cute stories. We met in grad school. Ironically we both missed the first week and needed eachother notes. Thats was about 2 weeks short from 2 years ago. Would be nice to revisit the class room.

We met at my work. He was our vendor and I thought he was hot so I found him on myspace 🙂

We met at a party in college. Nothing too cute over here!

We met though his wife.
That still sounds so wrong, but I was friends with his wife and knew him a little though her. She met a guy online, divorced him, and left the state.
The next time I saw him, (nearly a year after she left) we started talking and I asked him out. For the first week we were dating he kept saying, but *this* is so weird!

He worked with my best friend. She was living with me at the time and invited me to go to the beach with her and two of her friends…one of those friends was my SO. He tried teaching me how to skim board and it’s been love ever since…

We met through a mutual friend (one of my best friends) at a show. They went to high school together, and he had seen a picture of me on her myspace (haha!) and wanted to meet me. Turns out he had also stalked me enough to know that we were into 99.9% of the same music, so he came up to me while I was sitting alone and started talking to me about music. I was actually at the show with my boyfriend at the time but he had ignored me all night until he noticed another guy had come up to talk to me, ha!
About a year and a half after that (shortly after I had ditched the loser) my SO and I went on our first date.

Aww, love the before and after pictures!

I know EXACTLY how your feel. When I met the future Mr. at Downtown Disney, he thought I was a baby at 18, and way too young for him. Shortly after that I started dating his best friend (the person he had been there with that night). After that relationship ended last year we reconnected. I still believe everything happens for a reason. I spent three years with his ex, and it gave us both time to grow up and be ready for each other now 🙂

We met in the breakroom where we used to work. I was reading Robert Jordan and he walked in and said “Robert Jordan, huh?” and I replied, “Hell yeah, Robert Jordan!” He was married at the time (I had nothing to do with it, Bees!), but we became good friends over the years. I was one of the few people he told about his wife leaving him, and he consoled me through the end of a bad relationship. I was crushing on him for a LONG time, and finally got up the courage to ask him out. The first “date” was pretty mild, dinner, that turned into drinks, that turned into a long conversation, but no kiss, and he left disappointed. A few weeks later we went out again and I got up the courage to make my feelings known. In 5 days, it’ll be three years since he first laid that wonderfully passionate, romantic kiss on me, and I’m still madly in love with him!

We met at a baseball park! His team was playing that day. I’m apparently a sucker for men in uniforms 🙂

Out while I was having sushi. He asked “what roll is that?”
I was out with some friends, and in he walked in his suit. Was a rare night, b/c I don’t usually go out at all during the week (I’m a mom) and when I do, usually wearing work attire, but happened to be looking somewhat cute that night apparently.
