How did you meet your hubby? His sister and I were coworkers. Some evening I went out with his sister, and he came with her, too. It was love at first sight :-))))))
How long have you been married? We haven’t been married yet, we are getting married in October
Are you happy? YES!!!

I met my FH 15 years ago at a youth group we both worked at. It was my first ever job. We were friends for a long time before we got together.

I skipped school with a friend and went to her boyfriend’s house. My friend and I were 15, her boyfriend was 17 and we wanted smokes but obviously none of us were legal. Her boyfriend’s best friend was 18 so we walked to the shop and he got us some.
6 months later we started dating. On January 18th we’ll have been together for 6 years. Yes, I’m happy.

@mzieglar: My fiancé works for a Major League Baseball team and I met him while he was in Florida for Spring Training. We hit it off immediately, but long distance seemed overwhelming once Spring Training ended. I started seeing someone else once he returned back to his home state, BUT he never stopped texting me and I never stopped thinking about him. I didn’t want a long distance relationship but God knew best. Fast forward a few years and I moved to a new state, fast forward a little more and we are very blessed, very happy, and thrilled to be planning our wedding. Stay open to possibilities and pray- the one might be someone you wouldn’t expect.

- Wedding: October 2013 - Vine Street Church
We met protesting against Scientology. We were friends for a little more than a year and a half before dating, then we dated three years and one month before getting engaged. We will be getting married on 10/19, the day after our four year dating anniversary.

mzieglar Don’t worry you will meet your SO!
We are not married yet, but very happy. He found my profile on ICQ chat. I didn’t expect it at all, never really used it for dating purpose. He used to live in Ohio, I lived and still live in Florida, we met in Washington DC (neutral zone lol)) We started dating, after 6 months I flew to him and we spent long 1000 miles together moving him to Florida:) and now we have a kitty:)
I loved whoever posted WoW!!! I know actually people who met playing the game))

In highschool, I was dating his best friend and he was dating my best friend! i only dated his best friend for like a month and he only dated mine for about the same but she was heartbroken when he dumped her although they weren’t serious he was her dream guy & she was pretty obsessed with him and I ended up hanging out with him and falling for his sweet and shy charm and almost lost her friendship over it, I did feel like a jackass but I just knew he was the one. we have been together 4 years and will be married in 4 months!

I’ve got an interesting story because I kind of met my husband in two ways! I created a meetup.com group for singles and he was one of many who joined it. I met him at a meetup event on Valentine’s Day that I’d scheduled for my members. We liked each other, but because I’m shy, he thought that I wasn’t interested. We saw each other a few more times over the next couple of years at meetups that I coordinated and at other meetups for groups that we were both members of. All the time, he was convinced I wasn’t interested.
Then, I saw his profile on match.com, and thought, “Hey, there’s that guy I like!”. I struck up a conversation with him there and the rest is history.
We’ve been married for 3 months and are happy!
P.S. Kudos to you for ending it before taking those vows instead of after!

We work together: him part-time, me full-time/career.
Like you, OP, I finally got the courage to leave a dead-end situation (didn’t realise how bad it was until I was out), moved, and was just concentrating on me. Met him and it was instant, electric attraction. I stalked him for 2 weeks before he asked me to go with him to a staff function; then walked me home and kissed me goodnight.
I didn’t know he was Mr. Right then; just Mr-Feels-So-Right; but 6 years later we’re best friends, married last September; and I never thought I could be this happy, no compromise.
