I just booked a hotel room close to our venue for myself and a couple of bridesmaids. I could have stayed at my parents but they have a small house and I just want it to be easy come the morning of. So we’ll stay at the hotel and have hair/makeup/dresses there and the boys will get ready at our house.

I know I’ll probably sleep terribly because I always do when I don’t sleep with him (when he goes out of town on business I look like a zombie) but I’m hoping a good shellacing of makeup will make me look good 🙂

Fiance and I are staying at our apartment together. My Maid/Matron of Honor and her husband are spending the night, so she and I will go over to my moms to get ready, while Fiance and the guys will go get things moving at the reception area.

MissTNBookworm:  a bunch of us (me, DH, my parents and brother, the best man, and my 4 adult bridesmaids) all stayed at the venue the night before. We had to make a load of trips there the day before, plus it was a 40 minute drive from where we live, so we thought it would be easier and also fun. Me, my mum and the bridesmaids had some girl time (drinking champagne while doing our nails) and then we all went out for dinner. It worked really well, and it was nice not having to get up so early or worry about getting stuck in traffic etc on the morning.

MissTNBookworm:  Originally, it was going to be with one of my MOHs but she’s not able to do that now. I’m going to ask my sister next if she’d like to stay with me that night.

MissTNBookworm:  thankfully I was too excited to feel too bad the worst thing was the runny nose as it needed blowing all the time and I didn’t want to ruin my makeup Q-tips are your friend in this situation and medications if you have allergies which I also have and I got married in a garden

MissTNBookworm:   Love seeing everyone’s answers 🙂  My fiance’ and I have never lived together so sleeping separately the night before should be easy. I’ll be in the same bedroom I’ve lived in with my mom for 31 years (GASP!) minus my college years… and he’ll be at the hotel with his family.

We’re staying in separate suites at a local hotel so we each have space for our parties to get ready in. Then we’ll stay in my suite the night of the wedding.

My bridesmaids and I stayed at a nearby hotel the night before. We had plans to drink some wine and play American idol! But then the guys decided to come hang out with us and we ended up getting kind of tipsy and just having fun. It was really nice for all of us to hang out. everyone in the bridal party lives in different places, so being able to just hang out at the hotel room was nice! At the end of the night, we kicked the guys out!

MissTNBookworm:  Thanks!! I’m really looking forward to having my Maid/Matron of Honor stay over. She lives in NY and I only see her a few times a year!

We’re having it at a resort that’s in-town, and we plan to stay there three nights (kinda a staycation wedding lol). So we’ll have a hotel room at our venue the night of the wedding. I’m excited, we splurged for the ocean view 🙂

Our venue has bedrooms and our friends are staying there. I’m checking into our honeymoon suite the day before the wedding and will stay there then get ready there the day of.
