Crate and Barrel – awesome awesome awesome.  I love their stuff, it’s well priced, and the people who helped us were great.

Williams Sonoma – I swear we met the pots and pans guru there.  They really helped us and thus far, no problems.

Macys – Just registered here last night!  Had a good selection.

Target- I love the stuff and prices, but it was kind of a pain. When things go out of stock, they just get rid of the item on your registry and don’t tell you what it was. You have to hope you remember what it was so you can find something to replace it. Plus their return policy sucks. That being said, I’m using them again for my baby registry b/c like I said, love their stuff and prices.

Bed Bath and Beyond- I loved them. There’s a good variety and their return policy is amazing. We got doubles of some things so we had to return, and if it’s on your registry they’ll give you cash back.

We registered at Macys and Crate and Barrel. Both have everything we need.

Originally, I thought would we would register at Target, but I’ve heard so many horror stories about their return policy. We also just created a honeymoon registry at TravelersJoy.com. It is very user friendly.

Bed Bath and Beyond: this one has the majority of our stuff

Target: we originally signed up for this one, but after reading and hearing about what a pain in the ass it was to use, I got rid of it

Amazon: switched everything from Target to this one

Crate and Barrel: the only place we could find dishes we liked.  I love their stuff!

Bed Bath and Beyond: Amazing selection, plus great return policy. I was returning some stuff that I ended up not using 6 months after the wedding!

Macy’s: They had the Martha Stewart dishes I wanted.

Amazon.com: for all the random stuff that’s not available at Macy’s or BBB

Bed, Bath, and Beyond (only traditional registry we have, and a pretty small amount of things)

Also will say that the couple welcomes Gift Certificates from Lowes for needed home upgrades and (insert local furniture store) for furniture upgrades.  We have been in our home for 8 years, but there are still thing we need to upgrade…and our furniture was bought the year we moved in together, 9.5 years ago…so we are in need of those items the most.

Just BBB and Macys here. So far our experience with both has been stellar.

Target, Bed, Bath and Beyond, and Crate & Barrel!

We did our Target registry in-store and our Crate & Barrel registry online. The BB & B registry was a PITA, though! We went three times trying to register.. if you’re going to register there, you definitely need to reserve several hours, between setting up the registry, picking out china, listening to their sales pitch, and actually getting out on the floor.

Macy’s and Amazon.  We had a small wedding, and didn’t really need too much in the way of stuff, so more would’ve been overkill.

Amazon – We had a lot of success with this, but almost everyone on our guestlist was familiar with the site and understands how to order things online.  If you have non-computer literate relatives, this might not be a good choice.

Macy’s – Loved it.  The discounts and completion bonuses make it worthwhile, and most towns and cities have a brick and mortar store.  No problems with the website, either.
